Kids are being moved from non-kinship foster home to Maternal Grandparents home. Maternal grandparents are struggling financially although they are providing the kids a safe and stable home. While they currently are providing basic needs for the kids, they were able to secure bunk beds but are need of twin mattresses to prevent the children from sleeping on the floor for an extended time frame.

This amazing family welcomed a child into their home this March, but they are not receiving financial assistance from OKDHS at this time. They've faced so much this year, including losing their home and having to quickly relocate. Tragically, last month, the foster mother's ex-husband and father to her children passed away. As his next of kin, she took on the responsibility of arranging and paying for his funeral, which has left her completely depleted financially. She's now in a difficult position and doesn't even have gas money to get to work. They could really use some support to help them get by until her next payday on the 15th. Anything you could offer would be a tremendous help.

I have a newly certified foster family in need of some items for their first placement. They originally were only open to having one child placed in their home but they have opened their home to a sibling group of two children. The children are ages 3 and 4 and the family has two biological children of their own. Because they opened their home to more children than they originally planned the foster family is in need of an additional twin bed and mattress as well as a three point harness car seat.

A young mother of an infant is working a prevention case with OKDHS. She just moved into a new apartment with her infant as she works on gaining independence from a domestic violence situation. She is engaged in services and working to correct conditions for her child. This young mother's recent move has strained her finances severely. This young mother needs help paying her rent deposit. We are asking for any help that can be provided to help removing this expense for this mom. Thank you for considering this important request and for all you do for our families in need!

We have a natural mom who is needing assistance with paying for half of a parenting teens class that is a required service for her to reunify with her children. This mom has been working diligently to complete the services asked of her by DHS for reunification. The total amount of the class is $120 and we are asking for help with at least $60 towards the full payment. If this need is met, this mom will gain knowledge and support needed to parent her pre-teen to teenage children.

OKDHS is working a prevention case with a family with two young children. The children are in an out of home placement to prevent them from entering foster care. This safety plan monitor is providing a safe home for these children, but she has encountered several obstacles. She is behind on her rent due to not receiving her regular check for this month. She owes $1378.05 to get caught up and not face imminent eviction. She has been working with community resources but none have pledged to help her pay yet. She is facing possible eviction 6/14/25. She has been to court and is trying to work out a payment plan with her apartment administration. She needs to get them $400 as soon as possible. We are asking for help with this urgent need so that she can keep these children at risk of going into foster care in her home and prevent eviction.

These foster parents urgently need a pack and play for a baby who has been exposed to domestic violence in the biological mother's home. These foster parents are also caring for the baby’s siblings in their home. They would deeply appreciate receiving a pack and play, which would provide a safe and secure space for the baby. This home offers the child a stable and nurturing environment, and having a pack and play would be a great first step in meeting the baby's needs.

Bio mom is needing help with transportation to be able to visit with her daughter and make it to all of her appointments.

A young mother of two precious kids does not have a reliable phone and has been struggling to stay in consistent contact with providers, caseworkers, and her children. A donation of a prepaid phone and 30 day card would make a huge difference in her day to day life as she would be able to call and speak with her children regularly and make sure that she is able to get the most out of her services. This mom is young and has been going through so much. This kindness would be a big leap in helping her turn things around. Thank you!

A young mother of a toddler is working a prevention case with OKDHS. He has successfully reunified with her child in her own place after surviving and leaving a domestic violence situation. She is engaged with services and has been extremely proactive in taking care of herself and her son. This young mother is nearing case closure, but was unexpectedly laid off from her employer of three year. She made good money with this job and had just moved into her own place and is now worried about making ends meet until she can find new employment. She still owes $300 for her apartment she just moved into. We are asking for any help that can be provided to help take care of this rent obligation while this young mother works on finding new employment. The biological mother of two young boys is actively working toward long-term sobriety and the establishment of a stable, nurturing home environment for her children. She is making efforts to distance herself from the negative influences and high-risk environments that have previously compromised her well-being and her ability to parent safely and consistently. She currently has an opportunity to move into an apartment located in a different neighborhood. This new setting offers her the chance to build a safer and more structured environment—free from the triggers and social pressures that have challenged her recovery in the past. Relocating would not only support her sobriety but also significantly improve the safety, stability, and overall well-being of her two children. This move would be a proactive step in breaking harmful cycles and prioritizing her role as a present and responsible parent. There is a $40 application fee required to begin the process, and she does not currently have the funds to cover it. We are asking for assistance from anyone willing to contribute this amount to help her take this next step forward.

A husband and wife have children in custody. They have also recently had a baby. They are homeless and are living on the streets. They could use some help with food and groceries and basic supplies. This will help them survive and to be able to get ahead and work towards reunifying with their children. I know that the mother does not have shoes
