A mother of a 4 yr old is needing a lock box to keep remotes in at night. The mother has been working on strategies to help her child with his sleep difficulties. The mom has been trying to put remotes up high, but her son will find a way to get them. A lock box will help assist mom in creating a calming bedtime routine without distractions. We are requesting $70 to help a family of three ( two adults and one teenager) pay their rent. The stepdad to work today and the mom starts back tomorrow after being without work. This assistance will help them stay stable as they transition back to work

A mother and her 2 kids (8 months old and 4 years old) are needing help with rent. Their rent is $1800 and the mother splits it with her brother who just recently was laid off and is unable to pay his part of the rent. The children's grandmother also lives in the home, but she is unable to work. The mother is also short on her part of the rent due to her husband taking her car without her knowledge and totaling it. The husband is currently in jail for DUI. The mother missed some work since her car was totaled. They are needing help with $1200 of the rent.

A foster family is accepting placement of a new child tomorrow. They are in need of a bunk bed, one twin mattress and a dresser (Rubbermaid drawers would work) in order to arrange bedrooms.

Hello! I am working with a single mother that has two children. I am trying to find a way to help her offset some of their typical costs so that she can put more money towards their bills. Some of the things that we talked about that could benefit the family greatly and let the caregiver direct her attention to their other immediate needs would be help with clothing for the youth, cat food, litter, or possibly sunscreen. The family typically gets Special Kitty indoor cat food and Pine Pellet cat litter for their animals. They use sunscreen often because the children and very sun sensitive and usually use water proof sunscreen that is at least SPF 50 or more.

The boy is almost 13 and typically wear boys XXL or men's small. He does struggle with certain clothes sensitivities so he does not wear any pants with buttons and only wears pants with elastic in them such as gym shorts or athletic pants. He wears a size 7/7.5 in shoes right now. And he would most likely wear a jacket or coat that zips over a hoodie or sweatshirt.

The girl is 7 years old and is a bit on the short side so they typically get leggings or shorts for her or pants that are shorter. She wears a kids 10/12 and also prefers as elastic waist over buttons. She is also wearing a childs 12/13 in shoes.

Any help with any of these items would be greatly appreciated as it can help the caregiver tremendously! Thank you so much!!

Biological mother is disabled; however, she will make extra money with uber, door dash and deliveries. Child who is 13, attends school online and in person once a week. Mother is experiencing problems with her vehicle and cannot make extra money nor take her daughter to school. She indicated being able to drive sometimes but her vehicle will not allow her to drive out of Stillwater or sometimes out of the driveway. Mother went to O'Rielly's and was told she needed a O2 sensor correction (that she remembers), and possibly something with her throttle. Mom expressed needing extra cash from working with uber, door dash and deliveries. Her daughter is also diabetic, and this is how she is able to provide money for that as well. Mother indicated being able to drive her vehicle to a shop if needed and is willing to cooperate. She does live in Stillwater. She drives a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu

I have a young client, in elementary school, who is in need of a new mattress. We have received reports that his is stained and dirty and might have an odor, and as we work with him through counseling and case management on hygiene and other daily needs and coping skills, we believe a new mattress would help him to feel cleaner and safer. Mom informed me that this is something they have been working towards, but have not been able to get one on their own yet. A waterproof mattress pad would be very beneficial, as well.

This brave woman is a survivor of stalking and domestic violence, and she has moved across the country with her children to ensure their safety and rebuild their lives. She is currently working around the clock to provide for her family, but the financial strain of starting over has been overwhelming.

At this time, she is in need of some essential household items, including a dining room table and chairs, which would provide her family with a stable space to share meals together and allow her children an area to do their homework. Additionally, she could greatly benefit from grocery gift cards to help ease the burden of feeding her children during this difficult time.

Any support provided would not only help with their immediate needs but also give them a sense of stability as they continue to heal and rebuild their lives.

A mom is requesting assistance with obtaining a bike, specifically a mountain bike. This mom is located in a secluded area that makes it extremely difficult to access transportation and other resources. She also lives off of a gravel road, which is why a mountain bike would be more appropriate. The mom is really wanting to get a job and has a few options available, however, due to limited transportation she has been unable to secure anything. This mom is motivated to work and be able to better provide for her baby. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
