A biological dad is at risk of being evicted from his home. He does not currently have transportation to get to and from work. This is causing for his Uber expenses to take over his extra funds. His apartment complex told him he has until Monday to get his rent caught up or he will be evicted. Getting this need met will help him keep his home for him and his children.

A grandmother who has been taking care of her two grandchildren with power of attorney, are in need of assistance to get their utilities turned back on. They are in need of $200 for the remaining balance and then will be on a payment plan for future bills. The grandmother has in the process of getting back into working as she was recently in a car accident, which has affected their finances at this time. Additionally, grandmother has been working through the grief of her brother. The grandmother stated she is already appreciative of the thought of someone wanting to help, but in the meantime is heating up water on the stove to suffice having warm water.

The youth in question is 18 and is in State's Custody as a foster youth. She was living with her uncle in an apartment in Independence, MO but unfortunately, her uncle recently died leaving her with no money or resources. My youth was on the lease with her uncle and has to take over the utility bills and rent. She is currently only working part time minimum wage and does not have a permit or driver's license. She has very little money saved and has even less family support. We are requesting $200 either cash/check to help her with paying for next month's utility bills to get her through the next month until more services can be put in place to further support her in this time of need. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

I'm reaching out on behalf of a mother who is working hard to create a safe and nurturing home for her young child. She is in need of a few essential items to help furnish her space and support her child's development. Specifically, she is looking for a toddler bed, a small dresser, a kid-sized table and chairs set (for meals and activities). If you have any of these items gently used and or new at no cost to the mother, your generosity would mean a great deal to this family. Transportation is needed for these items. This family has experienced hit after hit recently, and just when they think they get ahead, they take two steps back. Moving forward, they will be able to pay rent, and have already secured July's rent. However, due to some miscommunication the family owes a little over half of June's rent, utility fees, and late fees for the month of June. The family is looking for other resources to pay, and the school social worker has referred them to Northland Miracles, but getting this paid for and helping them have a $0 balance as they head into July would relieve the stress on the entire family. The total they currently need help with is 973.29, but there is a possibility that more late fees will accrue between now and July 1st.

Sibling set of four moved in with grandparents to help preserve cultural connections. Grandparents recently moved to a larger space to accommodate the youths.

Family needs help picking up equipment from a storage unit and bringing it to their home. This will ensure siblings can maintain in a safe and appropriate placement.

Four children have reintegrated back home with their mother and father. Due to family having bug issues they had to get rid of their previous two twin mattresses. The beds would be for the twin 9 year old girls.

The family is from another country, and the mother and father speak two different dialects of language, so drop off of the beds would need to be coordinated through an interpreter or through me, I would be happy to help, since it is more complicated than normal.

Single mom who recently split with her ex due to a domestic violence situation. When her ex left the home, he took her washer and dryer. Mom has 3 kids under the age of 5 in the home and is struggling to afford to go to the laundry mat to wash and dry clothes. Mom is in need of a washer and an electric dryer. Mom reports that she has the hoses for the washer and the vent hose for the dryer. Gently used washer and dryer would be greatly appreciated.

Single mother of 5 is at risk of getting her energy shut of due to a bill she is not able to pay. Mother is not able to work due to specific reasons. Family is waiting for more assistance from the government that they have already been approved for, so they will hopefully be better of soon.

I have a youth that would like to remain in the home of their family member. The family member does have the space to accommodate the youth. The family member has 3 children of their own. A walk-through was completed by the case manager and sleeping space is available. The only concern is the home is not equipped with central AC unit. There are fans that are being used to keep the home cool, but that only works when the temperature is not so hot. The windows are open to circulate as much air as possible. The family is requesting if 1 to 2 window ac units can be provided to help the family. Any support and or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

One child in care and her baby are placed in a kinship placement. The kinship placement is needing assistance with her water bill. She has a past due payment of $134.24; but the whole bill together is $335.40. Any assistance in paying the water bill would greatly help this family. The placement provider is having a difficult time with all the additional expenses this child and her baby are bringing
