There is a sibling group of 4 who have been living long term in an office due to their level of disability and our inability to find foster placement willing to take them. All 4 are non verbal and autistic. We are hoping to get some sensory, fidget and interactive toys such as: squishy balls, pop its, bendy tubes, spinners, wooden puzzles, fake foods like fruits and veggies, eggs etc, flash cards, leap pads with books to be read along with, busy boards/busy books, montessori toys, light up toys, interactive books on planets and animals, etc to help these children regulate in an office setting. Ages of the children range from 8 to 17. Any help would be really appreciated! Either an outright purchase by a donor of any/all listed items or a gift card would be wonderful. Additionally, we are hoping to get each child a weighted blanket. The constant changes in staff, other children coming in and out and the general environment not being a home dysregulates the children at times and they will bite or hit or run and try to escape the building. This family was recently reunified. The child is 9 and medically fragile and has a lot of special needs. Bio mom was living with her mother and the child's father, who both recently passed away. Mom has her own special needs, and very little means. The family is Navajo; in their beliefs, the mom is not able to keep any of the personal belongings of her passed loved ones, so their spirits can move on. This worker and several others went to the home last week and cleaned it out of trash, furniture and belongings and had animal control come for the large number of cats coming in and out. Mom's sister is coming to stay with the family to assist but we had to throw away the grandma's bed in the home due to animal mess/releasing her to the spirit world. I am requesting a twin bed with frame so that aunt has a place to sleep. Any help is appreciated!

Due to the needs of the child it is imperative that mom keep her home clean. While cleaning out the home, we had to throw away all floor coverings, but there are rips and tears in the linoleum and tile that was covered by the rugs. The child is in a wheel chair and the spots on the floor make it hard for her to navigate. We are asking for 2 rugs, a 5x7 or 3x6 and a hallway runner, any style. We are also asking for some basic cleaning supplies, such as clorox wipes and/or spray, a package of paper towels and toilet paper, sponges, dish soap, glass cleaner and gloves. The family is also totally without any kind of air conditioning. When we were there to assist it was 97 degrees indoors. There is no storage for clothing and the adult diapers, so a dresser is requested, or some bins.

Family requested assistance with very specific items: interview outfit for mom, toilet paper, and a food box or groceries (if possible). The family also could benefit from a gas card as they are dependent on cash assistance monthly for things such as gas. This need was noted during conversation regarding picking up items. Mom wears and XL in shirts (fitted), pants- 12/14, shoes size 9. Lastly, if possible, school supplies for her 15-year-old son who will be starting school.

We have a 14 year old youth in custody requesting a punching bag for use to de-stress/release frustration. He had access to one at his previous placement and reports it helping him de-stress a lot. He does not have one at his new placement and has reported missing having one and being more stressed as a result. He is 6 feet tall as a reference for the size of the bag.

I wanted to ask if we could put a care portal request for the family for a fridge. The Specifications of the fridge they currently have are 35.5 inches wide 71.5 inches tall and depth of the fridge 23 and 32 inches deep. The family is unable to purchase a fridge on their own due to prioritizing mother's medical needs and medication costs.

The grandmother in this case is a relative foster parent to 12 and 15 year old siblings. The grandmother does not have much income, and does not have money for gas for her vehicles, which she needs to make it to apppointments.

This is a toddler that needs a toddler size bed frame. The need is due to safety concerns, having a toddler bed frame would allow the foster parent to set up sleeping arrangements for the child near them.

We have a 11 year old recently placed with his grandmother who is in need of summer clothes size 12 boys.

We have a 13 year old girl with a 6 month baby in care. Baby has out grown all clothes. She is in needed of 6-9 month summer clothes.

The Department is currently working with a high risk family who is in need a large trash bin to clean out their trailer and property. The family does not have access to waste management and needs a way to properly dispose of garbage. The family also is in need of a dresser to store clothing properly and eliminate clutter in their already small living space.

A is currently living in an office setting as the Department works on locating a foster placement. He is 13 and freed for adoption, but does not currently have a resource. A is autistic and struggles with anxiety, and has a lot of anxiety about living in the office and what comes next in his life. His team would like to see about getting him a weighted blanket to help him deal with the anxiety of living in the office and the constant changes of staff and the uncertainty of what will come next. Any assistance is much appreciated!
