A single Mother of 2, ages 11 and 3 need help for the community. Mom is sleeping on a air mattress with the 3 year old and th11 year old is currently sleeping on the couch in the living room. In addition. child is currently having trouble sleeping which has impacted his will to attend school on a regular basis. The family is requesting Beds, Mattresses and bedding for the family.

A single mom of 2 children is looking for help! Mom suffers from a traumatic brain injury she received in an accident at 12 years old. She receives no help from either of the children's fathers. She is looking to acquire bedding for herself and the children. The 7 year old boy has a hard time with school and sleeping and new sheets will impact the child's sleep positively. Additionally, the 1 year old child, turning 2 years old soon, is currently sleeping in a pack and play which she is outgrowing. She will soon need to transition into a toddler bed as she becomes more mobile. Mom is requesting Minnie Mouse sheets for the 1 year old to help with the transition.

Mom has secured temporary housing and is working with assistance at finding permament housing. Having secured housing makes it possible for the child to return to mom and have her own space. Mom is not currently working as she has been in treatment. She is in need of assistance in accumulating items her daughter will need.

Grandma has recently gained custody and care of her 6 year old, non-verbal, autistic grandson. Grandma is disabled and her only income is SSI. The family is in the process of fixing up the home to meet the needs of the child. In addition to being non-verbal and autistic, the child self-harms and has received no services until recently. They have cleared a room and are in the process of baby-proofing it in order to create a safe space for the child to sleep and play. Grandma has bought several items for the child, but is in need of additional items to help him gain independence, explore, emotionallly regulate, and to allow the grandmother an opportunity to safely perform tasks around the home.

A Mother of 3 is looking for a full sized bed for one of her children and a dining room table that seats 4 people for her kitchen to help furnish her apartment. Theis will help support sleeping arrangements and for the family to be able to sit down and socialize during dinners.

This family is in desperate need of clothing storage. Clothes are stored in laundry bags and these are sitting in a shopping cart in the living area of the home. Family is asking for dressers to store clothes and make the home more functional. The family is able to assemble dressers themselves so dressers that require assembly are fine. Any type of clothing storage option is greatly appreciated.

Single mother of three children with limited support in the area. Her family is from down south and cannot assist her in any way. Mother struggles significantly with her mental health and is not able to work and has three young children (female age, 6, male age, 3, female age one) the biological fathers are not involved or assisting in any way. Mother is a need of toddler, queen, twin bedding, bath, towels, and washcloths and a set of pots and pans. She also has a child that attends a charter school and is in desperate need of a uniform as she has outgrown her size. Child is in size 5/6 and the uniform can be gotten at Lodges in Albany,

We are currently working with a single mother of five children who is in between moving homes but cannot afford a uhaul to move her and the children/s items into the new home and does not have a vehicle.

Low income mother of two is in need of a breast pump. The mother is suffering from a leg infection however is unable to go to the hospital to take care of it because she is unable to pump for her 7 month old baby. With a breast pump, the mother would be able to leave enough stock for the baby while she attended to her health in the hospital.

This family in need consists of a single mother and her 4.5-month-old baby girl. Mom and baby recently moved into a new apartment after living in a shelter for a while. Mom also has 4 other children who were adopted by two families. Mom has a great relationship with her other children as well as the adoptive families, who are a great support for her after a hard time. The requested items would provide a safe way for Babygirl to start eating solids and would support mom to clean her daughter efficiently. Items: 1 highchair for 4.5-month-old girl, size 2 diapers, wipes, baby lotion.

The family has not had a working dryer for several months. There are 8 individuals in the home (5 children, 3 adults) and they have been struggling to wash and dry each person’s clothes in the home. The family stated that in addition to a working dryer, a clothesline would also be helpful to dry any extra items during warm weather.
