Hello! Our agency is working with a biological family who has struggled with homelessness. They are at risk of losing their storage unit if they are not able to pay a bill of $870. We have been unable to access any other type of funding. Thank you, so much, for considering!

A family we've been involved with recently has faced a number of hardships and have now found themselves without car seats to safely transport their children. The vehicle the father was driving at the time contained two car seats and the vehicle was in an accident and totaled. Therefore, the car seats are no longer considered safe and need to be replaced. The vehicle was not in the father's name and the insurance won't be able to pay to replace the car seats. The family needs a booster and a 5 point harness car seat.

Parents with a elementary school aged child who are currently living in a unfinished basement taking care of an elderly lady. Family is struggling financially with providing the child with clothes and shoes which fit him. The mother is working over 40 hours a week and unable to pay all the bills.

Child needs new clothing/shoes which fit him. Family would be open to having clothes provided to them or a gift card for clothes to be purchased.

Mother has a newborn, and has secured housing. Mother needs help with living room furniture and a bed for herself and the baby. Currently the child is placed with her mother, and Mom is completing services before child can be in her home. Any help with this would help to be able to transition the child home.

Single mother in need of groceries for her 2 children after there was fraudulent activity of her SNAP benefits leaving her with no ability to provide her children with food. This was confirmed by DSS employees. There are no known food allergies.

The mother is currently depressed. She has dogs in the home that have used the bathroom inside, causing the house to smell terrible. Mother got an eviction notice, and she has until the end of the month to clean it and get out. Her vacuum also recently broke. Children are currently placed out of the home due to the condition of the home. It is very cluttered, there is trash, and just over all needs to be cleaned. Mother would appreciate any type of cleaning supplies, bleach, wipes, vacuum, trash bags, etc.

We are working with a 16-year-old male who resides with his grandparents. This youth has been working really hard and come a long way. He would like to be able to attend his school prom next weekend on 5/17 but has been unable to find a suit/tuxedo. Grandparents are on fixed income and have had to designate funds to some other costs for this youth, so they are unable to afford the cost of a rental suit/tuxedo. The family has looked at all of the local second hand and thrift shops, however, they have been unable to find coordinating items in his size.

The sizes this youth would need are as follows: Shirt and Suit Jacket/Tux - 2XL, Pants - 40x38, Dress Shoes - 11.5

RCDSS is working with a family of consisting of a single 23 year old mom and a 10 month old little boy. Mom is currently unemployed and has a need for clothing for her son. Specifically, mom is looking to obtain shirts, pants/ shorts, and/ or socks. Mom reported her son wears 18M in all clothing items.

RCDSS is working with a family consisting of a single 23-year-old mom and a 10-month-old son. Mom is currently $4,100 behind on rent. She has a December balance of $41 that she is currently paying on but still has to pay the rent for January - April which is $1,057. Every month on the 6th late fees of $105 accrue on the account. Mom is currently unemployed but is actively job searching and interviewing. She has reached out to TANF and has secured emergency assistance of $1,500 which has been applied to the account. This family consists of a mother, stepfather, and two autistic teenage boys. The family's home is infested with mice and possibly other rodents/bugs as well. They are in serious need of an exterminator service.

Weekly price for extermination is $75.

A child has had to move with his mother through a CPS case. When he left his previous home, he was not allowed to bring his personal items including his clothing. The child currently only has a couple clothing items at his mother's home and is expected to stay there for the foreseeable future. His mother just changed jobs and does not have any extra funds to help with clothing. The family expressed that they would be grateful for donations or a gift card to the following clothing stores: Marshals, Old Navy, or Target. The child is a 14/16 in children's if it stretchy or a small in men's. He is a size 9 in shoes.
