I have a safety plan monitor that currently lives in Wagoner. She is driving to Tulsa 3 to 4 times a week so the parents are able to have visits with their children. The parents have limited transportation and are not always able to go to Wagoner. Please help with family with a $100 gas card.
I have a child on my caseload who is temporarily staying with a family due to his foster mother having knee surgery. This family has been wonderful as they have been taking this child to school and his counseling appointments but the mother is needing some help with gas. If you could please help her with a QT gas card, that would help ease the burden on this family. Thank you in advance! Please help these parents who have recently become homeless with hotel rent for a week. They have been paying the nightly rate but are continuing to struggle with consistent payments. By paying for a week, this could help them save up some money to get back on their feet again. The father is working full-time and they are in communication with the housing authority to get their voucher for a new home. Anything would be appreciated!
I have a mom who is trying to get reunification of her two children. She is currently needing help paying the remaining portion of her rent and the PSO bill. Mom needs $21 to finish paying her rent. She also could use $300 on her power pay account with PSO to help her get through the cold months. Currently she does not qualify for DHS assistance due to her working.
DHS is working towards placing mother's two young children back in her home. Mom needs to secure her home financially for her kiddos to come home to so they can be placed with her. Mom is needing help with her rent, any amount would be greatly appreciated.
A foster mom of 3 children under the age of 8 was gracious enough to open her home for her cousins’ 17 year old daughter to give this child a home until she is able to graduate high school and eventually transitions to a technical school. Foster mother is currently in 18 month program; which cause her to have to drive more as of lately to not only transport herself but also her 3 children and her cousin’s 17 year old daughter to and from school. The 17 year old has been through tremendous amount of trauma but, she finally feels safe and happy with her current foster mom; however foster mom recently had her driver’s license suspended due to tickets. The suspension is cause issue with her being able to drive her car legally while transporting. Foster mother is relaying on her sister to help; which is creating a strain because her sister has responsibilities as well. Blessing her with the financial help she desperately needs would benefit her chances at providing a healthier and safer life for 17 year old and foster mothers’ 3 children.
I have a family that is in need of crib. It is a mother of two (1 year old and 9 year old) with one on the way. She currently does not have a crib for her new baby. Her current baby is sleeping in a pack and play. She just had to pay to fix her car and does not have money for crib. This is will be very helpful for the family to all have safe sleeping arraignments. She will need a crib, mattress and sheets.
I have a 5 year old boy who is having a spinal surgery in the OKC area on December 1st. His bio mom lives in the Tulsa area and is need of assistance with a hotel stay so she is able to be at her child's surgery and there for him during that scary time.
The mom on this case has her three children in her home with her and is involved with us due to domestic violence with her child's father. She has successfully identified and secured a new apartment for herself and her children that would allow them a new address that her abuser does not know and was notified yesterday that the complex has an available home that they could move in to as soon as Monday. However, this mom is on disability for issues with her back and spine and does not have a local support system in place. She is unable with her current resources to move herself and her children in to her upstairs apartment. She needs help moving from her home near Admiral and memorial to her new apartment in Broken Arrow. Help for this request could be financial, and we could hire a mover... or if there was a local group that had vehicles and manpower that was willing to help her do this she would be so appreciative.
