We have a mother and daughter who have been brought back together. We have observed the mother and child to have a great bond. The mother just moved into a new apartment and will be starting a new job in the next couple of weeks. The mother has overcame many obstacle's in her life, and during our interaction with the mother we have observed an amazing turn around in her life. She is needing assistance with her rent and only has a short window of time to do so. If this barrier can eliminated it will help the mother save for incoming bills. We would like to add that this is a one time ask, because the mother believes she will be able to meet all of the needs in the home once she starts working full time. Twin boy and girl (6) and their brother (12) were placed in an emergency foster placement with non-relative kinship. Bedding is of a high need to help make the children comfortable in their sleeping arrangements. Clothing and hair bows and supplies is requested for 6 year old little girl. She wears size 5/6. The family does not have many toys for the age of six. These friends of the family have stepped up to help these children stay close to their school and family. Any assistance to help would be greatly appreciated.

Currently I have a kinship foster family in need of a double stroller for a pair of twins in their care. This foster family is caring for a total of 5 children. Your assistance would make their lives easier when transporting to appointments as well as doing day to day activities. I have priced these on walmart.com and believe one can be found for around $125. As always you help is appreciated!

Safe Families recently has connected with a young mother and her 5 year old son who is currently in a critical situation. She recently underwent surgery for ovarian cancer and is now preparing to begin dialysis treatment on May 5th. As the sole caregiver for her young autistic son, she has been unable to work since her surgery and is now facing the possibility of eviction.

She is currently $430 short on rent and has until Thursday, May 1st to make the payment in full. Without immediate assistance, she and her son will lose their home during an already overwhelming time of medical recovery and transition.

This is a mother who is fighting for her health, caring for her child, and doing everything she can to stay afloat. Meeting this need would not only provide her with stable housing, but with the peace of mind to focus on her healing and caring for her son!

The Demand Project (TDP) exists to eradicate human trafficking, online enticement, child sexual abuse material, and the commercial sexual exploitation of children. One of the ways we fight this is through our residential campus for teen girls. As the residents work through the program, we find ways to teach them money management. Unfortunately, some of the residents are not old enough to get a job off campus. We have been able to find jobs for them on campus and pay them with gift cards. Our stock of gift cards is dwindling and are hoping you would be able to help replenish the stash. We are looking for $10 gift cards to a variety of Places; such as Dollar General, Target, Wal Mart, ULTA, or even QuickTrip. We are thankful for your consideration to help provide for the residents. We have a couple from our church needing our help with rent assistance. A while ago, the husband lost his job, which made them rely solely on the wife's income. Since then, the husband found new employment and they are starting to get back on track. Although both are working, the couple is struggling to catch up on rent. As a church family, it's important for us to support and love on this family in any way we can. Please keep this family in your prayers. Anything helps!

A 14-year-old boy would like some theme park "grown-up" Lego sets to work on to help with depression and anxiety. He is very mechanically inclined and things like Legos help him focus and unwind.
