A single mother who recently moved into a new apartment and just found out she is pregnant is in urgent need of support. She is starting over with very limited resources and is currently unable to work while trying to secure daycare for her three daughters. Her children include a toddler (24 months, wears size 24-month clothing), a preschool-aged daughter (wears size 4T-5T clothing and size 5 shoes), and a school-aged daughter (wears size 7/8 clothing and size 12 shoes). The family is in need of essential items including pull-ups (size 4-5), diapers (size 4), wipes, a bassinet, car seat, walker, toddler cups, and baby bottles. The mother is also in need of clothing (t-shirts size small, pants size medium, shoe size 8/8.5). Household and furniture needs include a sectional couch, table and chairs, vacuum, cleaning supplies, towels, rags, laundry detergent, dish soap, two twin-size bedding and comforter sets, a queen comforter set, and window curtains. Meeting this need would greatly support this family as they work to build a safe, clean, and stable home.

Opportunity to help a pregnant mother of two young children with a 3rd child on the way. Mother and children are currently living in a home with her parents, sibling, nieces and nephews. Children are currently sharing a bed with mother. Father of the children is incarcerated. Mother works at a nursing home as a medical aid and caregiver. Mother has saved up money and has rented an apartment, but does not have the financial means to furnish the apartment. Mother has been unable to move into the apartment because she does not have any furniture. Mother has a full sized mattress for herself but does not have a frame and/or box spring. Mother does not have a couch or any other furnishings for the empty apartment. By providing the basic furnishings, mother and children will be able to move into the apartment and have their own space and beds.

There is a mother and father who have been working extremely hard to not only be better for their two young children, but for themselves as well. They have five-year-old son and a four-year-old daughter who are the highlight of their lives, and also their proudest accomplishments. Unfortunately, both their children are not currently residing with them. If there is a way to help these devoted parents out by providing them furniture, it would put them in a better position, which would strengthen their chances of being reunified with their children. Both parents are working and have shown nothing but consistency and determination, to make their home a safe environment for their children to come home to. ERAT is working with a single mother who could use an extra car seat and some diapers for her 1 year old baby. The mother works late and has her mother help out with transportation. She does not have another car seat for this. The mother has left a negative relationship and is working on getting on her feet. The mother is engaging with services trying to create a better life for herself and her child. An extra car seat and diapers would help her. Diapers are size 7

Maternal Grandmother is a temporary caregiver for three grandchildren. The goal of this family is to be back in the care of mother and step father. Maternal grandmother requested laundry supplies. There are three grandchildren: Male age 12 Male age 11 Female age 4

Parents are presently homeless and living in their car part time and hotel part time, and are trying to save money to secure housing.

Single mother with a young 3 year old has been working part-time since leaving her abusive husband. Her parents have been a great support for her, but they are presently supporting two families in India, who are suffering from illness. Mother will have a divorce/custody hearing soon, and needs to show that her son has a bedroom with an appropriate bed and dresser. Mother is also potty training the 3 year old an needs additional pull ups.

Mother reports she would not request except her parents are not able to help her at this time, and she is on a time frame for court purposes. Mother will begin working full time again in August 2025, as a school teacher at a local Montessori school

The client is eight months pregnant and has a family of four, including her husband, two-year-old son, and four-year-old daughter. The family is in immediate need of housing and has been unable to qualify for multiple emergency shelter programs. The client is unemployed, while her husband works part-time and is actively seeking another job because his income is not enough to meet their basic needs.

The client does not have any baby items and receives diapers from our Earn While You Learn program when possible. She does not have a phone and relies on the family’s only car, which her husband uses for work. I am assisting the client with her housing search, though emergency shelter programs have presented many barriers to access. This client and her family are Spanish-speaking only.

The client would greatly benefit from newborn baby items, groceries, and gas. She is specifically in need of: Newborn clothes for a baby boy ($35 sizes 0-3 months) Diapers and wipes ($85 for various sizes) A newborn car seat ($140) A baby bath set including baby wash, shampoo, and lotion ($13) Diaper rash cream ($7) A gas card ($100) A Walmart gift card for groceries ($75)

Supporting this family in meeting these immediate needs will provide them with critical relief while they continue to search for stable housing.

A single mother of three is currently unable to work due to a recent back injury. Although she remains employed, she is on medical leave and is actively seeking remote work options while she recovers. She is also a dedicated college student, pursuing a degree in accounting. After spending several years on the City of Bradenton Housing waitlist, she was recently approved and moved into her new residence on April 18. Prior to this, she and her children were living with her mother. As a result, she has very limited household items and is in need of basic furnishings and housewares to help make her new space livable and comfortable for her and her children. Any support to help this family settle into their new home would be greatly appreciated. Note: all items can be found at Walmart.

The family lives in a small single wide and are in need of a new pack n play. The current one they have is broken and can cause concern to the infants safety and wellbeing.

A survivor of domestic violence is struggling to support her children now that her partner has left the country. This mother is here with little to no family support and needing connections and supplies to cover the needs of the children. One of the children is medically fragile and requires a lot of medical appointments, so for now a lot of her extra finances are covering travel to those medical appointments. support with the cost of diapers for her two children a chair that she can use to sit the child who cannot sit independently yet will be a great help.
