Help Preserve a Kinship Placement
Placement is a cousin of the mother. Kids were removed from mom and placed here. There are three kids total. The baby was being overfed by his previous placement, and he now has digestive issues. He will receive WIC eventually, but more information is needed from the doctor for this. Placement receives disability income and has no extra money to purchase formula with. The child is using Similac Sensitive.

Help Strengthen a Bio Family
Single mother of two children. She recently had her two children be approved to return to her home on a trial home visit. Mother is trying to pick up the pieces and build her life back together after she witnessed the tragic suicide of her former partner (and the children's father) on Mother's Day and she relapsed as her way to cope with the stress and grief the experience took on her mental and physical health. She has poured her life savings into her new residence but is struggling to adequately provide the children with clean clothes as she lacks the funds to routinely visit the laundromat and can't afford storage devices for the clothes either.

Help Reunify a Bio Family
The Department became involved with this family in September of 2024 due to allegations of physical abuse. Three of the children were removed from the parents and placed into relative care. Yesterday another child was born into the family. The family is living in a one bedroom apartment due to them only being able to afford that amount of space, as they have had difficulty obtaining employment. The family is in need of additional storage place for the new baby and their other children as they prepare for the children to come home. At the beginning of the case, the parents were generally non-compliant and were against receiving services but have since turned a page, and really worked through their services and are almost ready for their children to come home. Helping them with the additional storage of dressers as well as a microwave, would help with their reunification process and life after case closure as well.
