A great aunt has guardianship of her three great nieces. She is on a limited income due to her disability and receives limited financial support for caring for the girls. The girls are all outgrowing their clothes, and the family does not have extra funds to afford many new clothes for them, especially with the recent jump in Delmarva bills. The family has tried the clothing closets that I've suggested and has not been able to find much in the girls' sizes. The oldest girl is playing lacrosse and is especially in need of leggings and athletic clothes. Any help is greatly appreciated.

15 year old: small tops, size 5 or 7/8 teen, size 8 shoe 13 year old: medium/large tops, large leggings, size 11/12 teen, size 8 shoe 10 year old: large top, size 13/14, leggings extra large, shoes size 8 All three girls really need socks

CCS CUA 4 is looking for a church that is willing to sponsor a youth's prom needs. She is requesting to get her hair and nails done. She has a dressed picked out but we are seeking any form of assistance or donation to this cost. At this time, our agency is also assisting with graduation needs. SHe is 18 years old, teen mother of a 2 year old.

A grandmother has guardianship of her three grandkids, ages 7, 8, and 11. She has limited income through social security, TANF, and SNAP and is often struggling to make ends meet with the finances that she has. Her vehicle is in need of $1700 worth of repairs, which she is unable to afford right now. She needs her vehicle to get the kids to and from school and to therapy appointments, as they all have mental health and behavioral needs. She is struggling with her ability to provide the care that the kids need with the resources that she currently has, and often finds herself overwhelmed with the different financial challenges she is facing on top of the needs of her grandchildren. Receiving help with funding the repairs of her vehicle would be a huge help in supporting in meeting the needs of her grandchildren.

A mother of four has recently had two children (fictive kin) placed in her care by DFS. The caregiver met the children's mother on a Facebook mommy chat. Shortly after meeting the family, the children's mother passed away from cancer. There were seven children in the mother's home at this time. The caregiver who needs assistance is providing for two of the seven. The father of the children is not able to care for the children at this time and is currently on a treatment plan with DFS. The caregiver's income is fixed, and she is awaiting state benefits for the children placed in her care. This family is in need of the following:

A grandmother of one who is on a fixed income is in need of a few items to preserve kinship placement in her home. She has worked hard to purchase some items that were needed but is unable to afford a few items. The family is in need of the following:

2 Dressers 3 Doors for the home measuring 80 by 30 (x2) and 80 by 28 (x1)

A mother of one is caring for her four grandchildren as they were placed with her by DFS for neglect. The grandmother is on a fixed income as she receives disability. She is also currently residing with family members until she is able to find a home of her own. She was recently approved for state benefits but is still in need of some assistance. The family is in need of the following items:

Grandparents are caring for their 7 year old granddaughter and 4 year old grandson, and just assumed care of their four week old grandson. The children were unsafe living with their mother, and the grandparents have stepped in to care for the kids so they do not have to go into DFS custody. Because they have guardianship, the grandparents receive little additional financial resources to care for the children. With the baby, they do not yet have WIC, purchase of care, or TANF in place and they have to pay a family member to provide childcare for the baby while the grandparents' work. They do not have many items for the baby except a pack and play. The grandparents could use assistance obtaining clothing, organizational bedroom furniture, and baby items, such as a walker/playset for the baby to sit in and move around in as he gets older. The 7 year old girl wears 8-10 in girls and her shoe size is 3Y. She likes Hello Kitty. The 4 year old boy wears a 5T in clothes and 11C in shoes. He likes Marvel, Spiderman, and Toy Story. The 4 week old baby could use clothing sizes 0-3 months.

Who Needs Help: Kinship Caregiver providing for her younger relative. What do they Need: They could benefit from having a traveling car seat and baby stroller combination. What will Happen: The caregiver will have adequate "safe" traveling equipment to transport the child to and from various traveling places in and out the community and vacations state to state.
