A single mom working to reunify with her 5 children is in need of another pack and play to be able to be fully prepared to start her upcoming overnights. Mom has 2 sets of twins, 11 old girls, 1 year old twins 1 boy and girl and a 4 year old boy.
If possible a bike for mom to be able to get back and forth to work in the meantime would be super helpful, if possible.
6 children were successfully united with grandparents after being separated for 2 months. The Grandparents are not receiving payment for caring for the children for another few weeks. They are need of help with food and hygiene products until they receive assistance from our Department. This helps the family stay connected and celebrate the holidays together until they are able to be reunited with their parents. The family is open to receiving food and/or gift cards to buy food and hygiene products.

This family is struggling financially and is seeking assistance in providing a full-sized (preferably) platform bed frame for their daughters. They have a mattress and are using it on the floor.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
This family just experienced a car accident that totaled the family's only mode of transportation. Unfortunately, the mothers insurance would only cover a rental car for a couple of days. Now, she is having to pay for a rental car out-of-pocket which is causing extreme financial stress. Mother is a single mother of 3 kids, 10-year-old, 6-year-old, and 6-year-old, and only makes around $2,200 a month which is considered low income. Her rent is $1,100 which takes most of her budget. Her student's have had difficulty getting to school on time since the accident because she cannot afford the rental car every week. Without a car, it takes the family about 40 minutes each day to walk to-and-from school, and Mother is unable to get to work to provide for her family. The mother is requesting a used car or cash to help with a down payment on a car. This mom would be very thankful for any support as getting this critical need met will ultimately provide some stability for her and all her children in this difficult time.
We have a family who was homeless at one time. They have stable housing now but struggle to keep up with daily living needs especially clothes for their growing three daughters. They are looking for new school clothes for the students so they can go to school with confidence. A gift card to Target or Walmart of any amount would be great.
A single mother of two children who was previously homeless, has unfortunately become unemployed and is trying to avoid getting evicted. She is struggling to find a new job in time to pay the back rent. This assistance would help her pay rent and avoid eviction. The student would have safe place to live and function while in high school.

This is a kinship placement that began when this young girl was 8 months old. Her mother was 16yrs old and could not imagine being a teen mother. So this grandmother has been in a shelter with her grandmother for almost 1year. Grandmother was approved for an housing program , Housing Key! This provision provided her with the approval for a 2 bedroom townhouse. She has absolutely nothing to go in the home. The 16 yr old child is an excellent student and has not allowed these challenges to stop her from excelling in school. They assistance will allow them to have a fresh restart and enjoy her junior year of high school. Grandmother is so grateful to be out of the shelter and ready for her new home.
A single mother in great need of assistance to reunite with her three children. Mother will have her children returned to her care and needs beds and bedding for her three children. We are also asking for help with storage, with providing dressers for the children. We are asking for help in providing a bed frame, mattress, and bedding (sheets, comforter, and pillows). Mom lives in subsidized housing and is working, but money is tight. Mom is in school to be a medical assistant and is currently raising her three-year-old child. Mom has been working hard to reunite with her children. This would be a great help to preserve a safe and stable home for her children.

Parents were able to get quotes for an exterminator and the best offer was $267 In November for the initial treatment and $93.74 for the ongoing services for the months of December and January.

Family of 4 is currently living in a Motel. The family needs a small microwave where they can cook and heat their food. This will help the family save time, money and gas, they are currently going to a nearby gas station to heat up their food. Some gas cards would also be very helpful. Thank you
Our agency is working with a single mother of 2 14 and 7 years of age. The family is facing eviction. The mother has come up with $4,000.00 of the 6,200.00 that is needed. An elderly woman who has custody of her 2 school aged grandchildren has recently discovered they have a mice infestation in their home. As a result of this, a large portion of her dry goods have been thrown away due to the mice. She is on a fixed income but was able to pay for the exterminator to come and begin the process. However, she is in need of metal or glass food storage containers and groceries to replenish what she had to throw away. Thank you in advance.

A single mother urgently and kindly requests $800 for her security deposit to rent a studio room for her family of four children. Ages are 7, 6, 3, and 1. Her monthly rent is $800, which she has accumulated over the last two weeks by cleaning homes. MVUSD has provided her and family with temporary housing at a local hotel for 10 nights, which will end on Friday 10/27. This monetary aid will ensure she gains the keys to her studio room so her children have a roof over their heads. A stable and permanent home yields consistency and safety for students, which increases student achievement.
