A single mother of four children is in need of bedding for her children. Client was able to get stable housing for her and her children two months ago and beds but not bedding for them. Client is in need of a twin bedding set and a full-size bedding set. Client is also in need of a shelving organizer and bathroom shelf organizer. Client wants to provide a safe and less cluttered space for her children. Due to client’s limited income, she is not able to provide necessary items for her children. Client currently is not able to work due to her mental health. Client is eager to work on her mental health to be able to return to work. Client is currently working with Case Manager on her resume and preparing for a better future for her and her children. Client states she is fortunate if anyone can help. We have a young, single mother of 3 children (ages 1, 4 and 5). She is experiencing unstable housing and financial stress. The mother is a victim of domestic violence and is trying to keep her children sheltered and safe from harm. The mother has been residing with the maternal grandmother in a single unit apartment with the children. The MGM put the mother and children out on yesterday and stole the mother’s food stamps from her EBT card. The mother is not able to purchase any food for herself and the children. She was able to get a room in Hollywood through PATH and is awaiting placement in a DV shelter. DCFS and the agencies involved with this family are working tirelessly to find a residence the mother and children. The mother can be reached on her cell phone and the CSW is able to correspond with the mother accordingly. We are hoping that a donor will pick up this request and provide the family with a $300.00 grocery gift card or purchase food for the family so that the mother and children do not go hungry.

We have a mother who has a six-month old baby that is teething. The mother is very resilient and is thriving with all of her programs she is involved in. She is a domestic violence survivor and is using her experience to build and grow within her life. She is in therapy to address the concerns that brought her family to the attention of the Department. She is a domestic violence survivor. She is a good mother who truly cares for her daughter. During our meetings the baby is always smiling and giggling. Recently, the baby began teething and is in need of hypoallergenic-silicon weaning cups, baby spoons, feeding set, and food making system (NutriBullet). I am in hopes that some of these items can possibly make it to her.

This a grandmother caring for her 2yrs granddaughter and grandson 7yrs and 10yrs who are under DCFS, with her fixed income and the coast of living so high ,recently her care was in a hit and run when it was in parked, and since there was no witnessed the insurance would not cover the repairs, and being the only care she needed. she stated this really set me back financially,
My stove needs replacing. Only 2 burners are working. The refrigerator is freezing all the food they tried fixing it. They said it needed to be replaced.all my veggies and fruits got spoiled. I am sol provider and can”t afford to cove this two items

This request is on behalf of a determined and resilient 35-year-old single mother with four children, ages 12, 9, 5, and a 4-month-old infant. Demonstrating remarkable courage and initiative, she recently secured employment in Las Vegas and is taking a bold step toward a brighter future for her family by relocating to begin this new chapter. Until now, the family has been living with the client’s parents in a shared household. With the support of loved ones and her own drive to improve her circumstances, she has secured a two-bedroom apartment in Las Vegas and will be moving before the end of May. However, because they’ve been staying with relatives, the family currently does not own any beds or bedding essentials. To help them make a successful transition and ensure the children have a comfortable and safe place to sleep, we are requesting support for: One bunk bed, One full-size bed, Bedding items including sheets, comforters, and pillows. This support will help alleviate some of the initial financial burden of relocating and allow the mother to focus on settling in and building stability for her children. Your assistance will provide not just furniture, but a foundation of comfort, dignity, and hope during this critical time. The family is composed of the mother, 3 children, and the father of the youngest child. The father is employed and is the main source of income for the family. The mother indicated that she sells different items online to support the family financially. The baby was born prematurely and has been in the NICU ever since. The mother reported that although the family was preparing for the child’s arrival, due to economic hardships they have not been able to afford the baby’s car seat. If an infant car seat is provided to the family, it would ensure the child’s safety travel and overall wellbeing by ensuring he can attend medical appointments.

I am currently working with a single mother who is currently in the hospital about to give birth. Mother has a open case with her six year old daughter. Mother has successfully secured housing and is in complete compliance with all court orders. We are tying to prevent the Department from detaining the newborn. Mother needs to have basic necessities when the Department goes to the hospital. Mother has most of the items but not the car seat. Mother continues to work very hard to reunify with her daughter and is following all court orders and recommendations. The case put a financial strain on mother as she had to attend various classes throughout her dependency case and purchasing new items to prepare for the new baby. Mother would be grateful for any assistance , thank you in advance.

Client is a single mother of1 month old baby living with parent at this time. Family is in need of assistance in obtaining a stove, due to current stove is not functioning right and falling apart. family financially can not afford a new stove to replace the current one. Family source of income comes from public benefits and seeking employment in the near future after family finishes program activities. Family has been active and participating in our maternal and baby health program since March 2025 and continues to be.
