I am writing to request your assistance in supporting a single grandmother who is experiencing homelessness and is the primary caregiver for a child with special needs. The family is in dire need of support with gas cards ($50 x 4) to help them travel to medical appointments and are also in need of support with paying for a storage unit ($450) to store their belongings while they search for a permanent residence. The grandmother is disabled and has been struggling to make ends meet since her husband left and is now faced with the added challenge of caring for her grandchild who has special needs. Despite her best efforts, she has been unable to find stable housing and is now experiencing homelessness. The child has frequent medical appointments and therapies that require travel, and the family is in need of gas cards to help cover the costs of transportation. Additionally, they have been forced to place their belongings in a storage unit, but are struggling to pay for the monthly fees. I am confident that your support will make a significant difference in the lives of this grandmother and her grandchild. Your assistance will help provide them with the stability and security they need to begin rebuilding their lives. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Christian Heritage has received a request for rental assistance from a single mother of two preschool children. The mother recently had her wages garnished for $800. The garnishment paid off her past debt to the collector in full. At the same time it reduced her income by almost the exact amount of her rent. She is asking for rental assistance in the amount of $790 which is due by February 5th.

This family has a child on the spectrum and has concerns for the child's safety. The child unfortunately took it upon his self to leave the home and walk through neighborhoods and a highway to get to school. A stranger picked up the child and took him the rest of the way to school. Child alarms are needed to keep the child safe and make the caregivers aware if the child leaves.
