The wonderful relative caregiver has asked for assistance obtaining formula: Enfamil gentle ease. The caregiver is currently unemployed and has an appointment scheduled with WIC later in the month. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

A family of 4 is currently experiencing financial hardship and in need of support. This is a one-income household with two children, and while the mother is actively seeking employment, she faces challenges finding a position that accommodates their current family schedule and the children's school commitments. Work shoes are especially important, as they are required for the father’s continued employment in a labor-intensive position that is primarily at night. The family recently lost all cold/frozen food and is in the process of replacing after their fridge went out and has since been replaced. This would make a meaningful difference in this family's daily life and ongoing efforts toward stability.

At this time, the family is in need of the following essential items:

Basic hygiene supplies (soap (kids sensitive/safe/gentle), shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, toilet paper, paper towels, tampons, laundry detergent)

Non-perishable food items: Fruits, veggies, meat.

Men’s non-skid black work shoes, size 12

This need was vetted and submitted by an organization in Duval County, where the children were removed. Three siblings ages were placed in out-of-home care with their grandmother. The kids are transitioning well to their new placement, schools, and neighborhood. Unfortunately, they were not able to bring an ample amount of clothing when they were removed by social services, because the kids didn't have much. The following is a list of the clothing needs for the three children in care:

Sydney (F age 11)- shirts (sz. 14 kids), pants (14 kids), shoes (adult 9)

Myles (M age 15)- shirts (size 2X mens), pants (44 mens), shoes (mens 17) (He's 6'4" so he needs long pants)

Ayden (M age 8)- shirt (sz. 10 kids); Pants (sz. 10 kids); shoes (sz. 5)

The grandmother is thankful for any assistance as she was unexpecting having to step into a full-time caregiving role. She is willing to meet someone to go shopping. She is open to either receiving the clothing or the gift certificates for them. I have a case that is a single mother of 8. She works full time and is going to school as well to become a RN. At this time, she is in need of box springs and mattress for 6 of her children. Box spring size is twin. She has the frames already

As they begin to navigate this new chapter together, the caregiver has moved into a safer, more stable home. However, they are in need of a few essential furnishings to help create a warm and welcoming environment.

Specifically, they are seeking a kitchen table with chairs (black, if possible) and a living room couch. These items will go a long way in helping the child feel a sense of comfort, stability, and belonging—transforming the space into a true home, rather than just a place to stay.
