I have a mom with a 7 year old child who has been struggling. She is currently staying at a motel and is running out of funds to maintain the hotel until she can get into her new home. This mom has got her self a job in the process off being evicted from her previous home. She is working to give her and her child a safe environment. She needs assistance paying for the motel for the next week. Any assistance would be really appreciated.

Hello, I am currently working with a biological parent who is currently in trial reunification with her children. The family continues doing well, but the mother recently informed me she needs assistance with some child-proof items for her 2 and 4 year old children in the home. She is needing 2 door knob covers, cabinet/drawer locks for the kitchen/bathroom, and outlet covers. We are asking if there is anybody able to help fulfill these needs and support this parent. We have an older foster mom who just took in a teen girl. Foster mom works at a daycare and is starting the DHS process for home approval but has been living off credit cards to get the teen everything she needs. Foster mom needs a lot of assistance for this placement as it was very unexpected, and the teen girl came into the home with little to nothing. Hello all, I am hoping you can help a very dear family. They are 5 adults and 2 children, living in a household that are looking for rental assistance. The family had to leave a previous location due to being uninhabitable, and the previous landlord did not correct the issues. The family has exhausted other resources by staying with other family members and was even homeless for a day. The family was able to obtain a They were able to find a place to stay, but are in need of deposit for the rental by this Saturday (2 days from now). The deposit is $1500. The family is unable to come up with the deposit due to fixing their vehichle which is their only mean for transportation, allowing them to work. Meeting this immediate need for this family will allow them to maintain shelter.

Oklahoma Human Services is currently working with a family consisting of a mother and two children ages 4 and 5. The mother has just left a difficult and unsafe relationship with the children's father where the father was the sole financial provider. She has been able to secure housing for herself and the children on their own for the first time since they have moved to Oklahoma. The mother is doing her best to secure everything needed for herself and the children to include daycare, getting a new job, furnishing their apartment, and building a life for them on their own. The mother is in need of assistance purchasing car seats for the children to ensure that they are safe in the car. The children are tiny and still in 5-point harness car seats. She was able to budget for a booster seat for the oldest, but she is still too small for it. Any assistance for this family would be greatly appreciated!

A single mother of a 6-year-old boy, 5-year-old girl, and 2-year-old girl is completing inpatient substance abuse treatment next week and has been accepted into a transitional living program so she can continue on her path of recovery. Payment of a program fee and the security deposit is required in order to move in. This mother is currently unemployed due to being in treatment but does have a job waiting for her as soon she relocates. Her children have been able to be with her while she is inpatient, but if she is not able to secure her spot in this transitional living program, she does not have a safe place to go, and the children will have to return to foster care placement until she can get settled somewhere. Assistance with this need will allow this family to remain together and make a fresh start.

She has to take the bus to work, to her required services, and to visitation with her child and struggles to afford the pass without assistance. Providing this pass will give her a greater chance of completing what is required for her to reuinify with her child.

He is employed, however, due to extenuating circumstances with his employer he has not received consistent payment over the last few months. Previously he was living with his father prior to him passing away which helped ensure the bills were paid.
