A sibling set of four kids (ages 15, 13, 11 and 9) will be moving to their foster to adopt home by the end of this month. The family has purchased beds, clothes and sports equipment for the children, including uniform shirts for oldest brother, who has a job. Everyone is so excited for the children to stay together and move into their future forever home. Foster parents have stretched finances thin in order to quickly obtain all the items in anticipation of these kiddos coming. The last missing items they need help with is a dresser for each child. They have been looking locally for reasonably priced dressers and buy/sell/trade sites, and but haven't had any luck. This family of two, soon to be a family of six would be so grateful and blessed to receive any assistance with obtaining dressers for the kids. Thank you in advance for your consideration, God Bless!

Sometimes youth arrive in care with few possessions, and can arrive at the office in immediate need of undergarments. Keeping a package underwear (all sizes, boys and girls) in office would be a tremendous help, in addition to socks (multiple sizes). Older youth can become restless if anyone would be willing to donate a few PG or PG-13 DVDs/BluRay to help with entertainment Some youth travel great distances for visits or placement, we would like help keeping travel pillows on hand. Lastly, assistance with these specific bags (see LINK) for kids belongings would be a huge help- they are durable, fold up nicely and hold a lot stuff! Clearly marking a youth's belongings helps with mix-ups or items being lost, the office loves these sturdy, identifying tags and could use a package to help track belongings (LINK Below). We are so blessed and thankful for any assistance. Thank you for your consideration and God Bless!

Many times, when children and youth enter the foster care system, they may not have many personal items with them, or have lost items through their difficult journey. We would be blessed to receive donations to keep on hand for children and youth who need hygiene items immediately. A few of each item would be appreciated and provided to kiddos in need. Full size shampoo and conditioner. Full size deodorant and body wash (for men/women). Bath sponges/loofas, combs, and hairbrushes. We also would be blessed with having a few packages of baby wipes available. Any help with diapers and pullups is greatly appreciated. We need single packages of all sizes of diapers (newborn, size 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6) on hand, as well as pullups (size 2t, 3t, 4t, 5t, and 6t). Lastly providing feminine hygiene products would be very helpful, any tampons or pads (all sizes) are a needed and welcome donation. Any donations can be dropped of to Jenny, M - F, 8am - 5pm at 3000 Broadway Hays, KS. Thank you in advance for your consideration and help with these essential items. God Bless!
When children and youth enter foster care, placing them with safe and loving family is always explored and preferred. There are state regulations that kinship homes must comply with, and many times these families are rushing to obtain all items needed to meet compliance, as well as obtain car seats, beds, school supplies, clothes and shoes. The kinship department has shared that having the following items available for incoming kinship homes would be a tremendous help for these families who need to meet the regulations to accept and maintain placement of their kin in foster care. They would be blessed to receive help with smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, pillows and blankets. Donations can be dropped off M - F, 8 am - 5pm to Jenny Bongartz at 3000 Broadway, Hays, KS. Thank you in advance for your consideration, God Bless!
