This mother recently moved to the DFW area with her newborn daughter. She is in the process of obtaining her own home, car, and a job. She did not move to the area with much and has been given resource packets for her area. She only has a pack n play for the baby to sleep in, and it is not working for them. This mother works full time to provide for her family and has been struggling recently to afford items for her 1-year-old. She was able to obtain a car seat that is not too small for the toddler but is struggling with other items. If you are able to bless her with a toddler bed and bedding, please do. Thank you.

This request is for someone who has fallen on hard times and is currently pregnant. She is very motivated to work and engage in all of her services but needs reliable transportation. She has a vehicle that has recently broke down due to the O2 sensors needing to be repaired. She has purchased the part and just needs to pay for the labor, which will cost around $70.00. If anyone is able to donate this amount, it would be greatly appreciated.

A young mother (26 years-old) has 6 children and is needing assistance with furniture from their new home. The mother is currently not working as she suffers from severe depression. The four older children's father has been deceased for three years. The two younger children's father is semi-involved. The family is needing two twin bunk beds, twin mattresses, two toddler beds, toddler mattresses, a full or queen size bed and a mattress, a couch, and a dining room table. These items will be able to help assist with the children to have sleep better and be able to be prepared for school due to them having a good night's rest. And not having to sleep on the floor. Also having furniture in the home to give the children an opportunity to have a cozy and comfortable home. As Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory suggests that basic needs must be met before individuals can progress to higher-level needs. The most basic needs for survival, including air, water, food, shelter, sleep, and other biological requirements effects a person's psychological needs.

Mother and 5-year-old are currently homeless and needing assistance with temporary stay in a motel for few days until, she can find an alternate caregiver for her child. She has reached out to area shelters and none of them have spots available and there is long waiting list. She tried with her extended family members and none of them are able to help her at this time. She is requesting financial help with few days stay at Super 8 Motel in Fort Worth which cost $75 per night. She is helped by her brother for tonight.

We are seeking assistance in obtaining a twin-size bed with mattress and sheets/blankets and a crib with mattress and bedding for a devoted father and his 11-month-old daughter. The father, who is a survivor of domestic violence and lives with a traumatic brain injury, is currently sleeping on a small air mattress, while his daughter sleeps in a worn pack-and-play. Due to his injuries, he suffers from significant migraines, and the lack of proper bedding has made restful sleep extremely difficult. His daughter, who is rapidly growing and developing, needs a safe, supportive crib to ensure her well-being and healthy sleep. Providing this family with a proper bed and crib would greatly improve their quality of life, support the father’s recovery, and offer the stability and safety every young child deserves. Any support in meeting this need would be deeply appreciated.

This family is doing everything they can to rebuild their lives after facing unimaginable loss. The 41-year-old mother suffered the tragic death of her partner to suicide, which led to the loss of both her job and home. With nowhere else to turn, she and her three children—a female, age 8; a female, age 12; and a male, age 16—were welcomed in by a generous family friend who offered them a place to stay, despite managing his own serious health challenges. All three children now share one small room, sleeping on a twin mattress and an air mattress, yet they remain hopeful and close as a family. They are in need of a few basic items to help create a more comfortable and stable living environment. A trundle or bunk bed would give the children a better place to sleep, and a washer and dryer (new or used) would help them keep up with everyday clothing needs. They are also in need of clothing: size 8–10 girls tops, size 10–12 pants, underwear size 7–8, and size 5 shoes for the 8-year-old girl; XL–2XL tops, XL black leggings or yoga pants (no jeans or bright colors), size 8W shoes, and underwear size 9–10 for the 12-year-old girl; and 4–5X tops and pants, underwear size 4X boxer, and size 15W shoes for the 16-year-old boy. Any support would mean so much as this family continues to move forward with strength, love, and hope for a better tomorrow.

The client has four children that do not currently have beds to sleep in. The family has been staying with family and is now getting ready to move into their own. The mother is single raising 4 children on her own. The mother has been working hard to achieve safety for her children. One of the children stated that if I was able to help them get their own place that they will clean the house forever. The mother has been committed to services that will allow her to be a better mother to her children. With hard work and much determination this mother has not given up. If you are able to assist this family in any way. Your acts of kindness will be greatly appreciated.

Family of 7 just moved to Texas from another state. The family has applied for insurance and is awaiting on a determination for their case. One of the children has a positive antibody for Hep C and is needing testing to determine if he actually has Hep C. Mom is unable to pay for testing out of pocket due to just moving and not yet able to locate employment. Having this test will help determine the need of further medical care if needed.

This family needs help getting their transmission fixed on their car. The family was finally able to obtain a car, but the transmission has failed. This would help strengthen the family so they could get the children to school, doctor's appointments, and activities. The family already received an estimate on how much it is going to cost and has sent me a screenshot.

Young and first-time mother of an 8-month-old child. MO is unemployed. She is not able to look for a job she does not have her birth certificate. Mother born in another state. Mother has limited support for herself and her child. She is in need of clothing to be able to look for a job when she obtains her birth certificate. She does not have hygiene products for herself and child. She does not have the financial support to purchase underwear, clothes and shoes for herself. She does not have the income to purchase clothing, hygiene products and diapers for her child. MO is in need of items to help her life and child's life better. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

MO wears small size in women, underwear small, bra 34B and women shoes size 8. MO is in need of sanitary napkins. Deodorant, body wash, wash clothes and towels. Child: clothing size 9months -12 months, and size 2 diapers.

This family consists of a Mother and her 5 children (14, 13, 10, 9, and 1). The mother is needing help getting beds (bunk beds if possible) for the older children. The children would also need bedding for the beds. The family also does not have a kitchen table to eat together as a family and no couch in their living room. While the mother was out of town at a funeral, someone broke into her apartment and stole all of their belongings. The mother is working and is paying rent and her bills and does not have enough to replenish the belongs that were taken.
