A single mom to her 3-year-old son is currently pregnant and expecting her baby at the end of November. She has little support from family and the father of the baby has told her he does not want to support their family. This mom is accessing support from many resources by attending parenting classes and utilizing case management. She is currently facing the possibility of losing her housing but is working with support on this. The mom is asking for help getting the vital items she will need to properly care for her newborn. The client has been able to obtain a crib, but is still in need of a crib mattress and linens. We ask for new items. If the items are gently used, please be prepared to email photos for the mom's approval. Thank you!
This family is in need of a lock box in order to keep medications in it. The mother and both of the children have medical issues and all take medication. The children are both special needs and sometimes try to get into things they shouldn't. This family having a lock box will help ensure the children do not get into medications they are not suppose to have.

Hello! I have a 16 year old male that has been struggling to get to school and has diabetes. The teen has an extensive history of trauma, as his dad passed away of alcoholism and his mother is currently homeless and struggling with substance abuse. The teen is currently living with a family friend that took him in to avoid possible foster care placement, and also has children of her own. The teen has been saving money to get a car for reliable transportation to school, and needs $200 more dollars to purchase the car. If he were to walk to school, it would take him about an hour, and this poses a risk for him passing out due to his diabetes. His caregiver leaves early in the morning for work, and is unable to drive him to school. The teen is wanting to get back on track with his academics and be the first one in his family to graduate from high school. We would greatly appreciate the remaining $200 for the teen to be able to purchase a car to get to school. Thank you!!

A single mom is expecting her second child - a baby girl - to be born in December and she is currently raising her son. The client is accessing as much support as she can from a mom's support group, her own grandma and sister, and social services. This mom is working hard with a job in retail and is applying for a second job, but they will not hire her until after the baby has arrived. This mom's car was recently stolen which has added barriers to getting to doctor's appointments and work. After all this mom's efforts to support her family, she is asking for additional help to get a couple of the necessary items she will need for her daughter. She will need a car seat to safely travel with her newborn and this will be a needed item to leave the hospital after giving birth. She is also asking for a pack-n-play as she is looking ahead to the logistics of caring for both her son and daughter together. We ask for new items. If the items are gently used, please be prepared to email photos for the mom's approval. Thank you for your support to this family! Infant Car Seat: Pack-N-Play:

While we don't have access to an infant car seat, we do currently have 2 gently used Packs-N-Play available; the client could choose which one she wants. Also, we are happy to provide diapers and wipes and other infant care essentials. Additionally, we have an abundance of gently used infant clothing, size Newborn to 2T. Please have the client call the Colorado Christian Services office to arrange a time to "shop" for free in our boutique-style Community Resource Room at no cost to her.
A first time mom is expecting her baby to be born in December and she is hoping to prepare for the delivery with the necessary items to care well for her newborn. The father of the baby was originally planning to support the pregnancy and the expecting mom, but they have now ended the relationship and he is no longer willing to be supportive. This mom is working in a warehouse but is limited in hours she can work due to an inability to lift heavy items. She is currently living with her sister, but is also looking into a way to find her own housing for her and the baby. This mom is asking for help getting a stroller, which will equip her to care well for her baby and offer the baby safety. We ask for new items. If the items are gently used, please be prepared to email photos for the mom's approval. Thank you for your support!
A family welcomed their second child into the world 2 months ago. Their older son is 3 and now they are also caring for a premature newborn. They have only a few of the items needed to care well for the children. They are asking for support getting a crib, and crib mattress. This would offer a safe place for the baby to sleep, and put the parent's minds at ease knowing both of their children have a proper bed. We ask for new items. If the items are gently used, please be prepared to email photos for the family's approval. Thank you for your support!

Dining room table (seats 4)
Dining Room Table for Apartment $130.00
Single grandmother took in her two teenage grandchildren so they didn't have to go into foster care. She was living in a 55+ community but had to move due to the children's placement. She spent a lot of her finances moving out and moving into a two bedroom apartment. She was able to purchase bedding for the children but does not have the funds for a dining room table. They could use help in getting a new or used dining room table that can seat 3-4 people. Any help is so appreciated!
