Child is aging out of care on the HCBS waiver. Child often chooses to spend her time sitting and watching TV or reading. Child needs enjoyable ways to continue movement, so child would benefit from an indoor exercise bike or adult sized tricycle to maintain a healthy lifestyle

These two boys are being reintegrated back into their home with their mom. She has been working really hard trying to get all of the things that are needed but is struggling with these two items.

Single mother of 2 is working very hard to find stable housing and work while also uninsured. One of the two children has been bullied at school for the clothes that she wears. The bullying has been relentless, to the point of daughter wanting to self-harm. The daughter is in safe hands. Clothes for the daughter are hard to find, as in age appropriate and in her style in sizes 2X. A gift card to any clothing places that has her size would help take a burden off of mom's shoulder and empower her daughter to feel more confident in choosing her clothes. I am reaching out to request support on behalf of a single mother in our community who is in need of a queen-sized mattress. This hardworking mom is raising two young children and doing her best to provide a safe and stable environment for her family. Currently, she is without a proper bed and has been sleeping on the floor or couch to ensure her children are as comfortable as possible. A queen mattress would give her the opportunity to get the rest she truly deserves and continue caring for her children with the strength and energy they depend on. A donated mattress would be more than just a piece of furniture—it would represent dignity, comfort, and care for a mother doing everything she can for her family under difficult circumstances. Bio Mom is needing to attend a driving school (Learn 2 Drive KC) that will help her get her driver license so that she can transport her children to school, medical appointments, and ABA therapy. The school consist of 3 driving lessons, and each class is 2 hours. The cost is $680 including pickup and drop off in the Kansas City area.

Family with 7 children had to move out of their home within 48 hours as the building was condemned. They spent multiple months looking for housing and have finally found a place to live. They are in need of living room furniture.

Kinship placement has been unable to pay their past due water bill in order to insure continuation of service. Needs help towards this bill.

KCMO Angels is supporting an 18-year-old youth in foster care currently placed in an independent living program. She is experiencing challenges with food theft and limited access to activities during personal time. Recently, she left campus without a pass due to boredom and lack of available staff for approval, which resulted in consequences.

To help promote her stability and well-being, we are requesting:

Non-perishable food items she can safely store in her dorm room: Strawberry Apple sauce

Beef jerky

Ritz and salami

Pickled peanuts

Pickle flavored puffs

Bread and butter pickles

Mac n cheese

Spicy kimchi noodle

Popcorn

A copy of the Uno card game

The final two books in the Twisted Love series, which she enjoys and is actively reading

These items will help her manage her time more positively and reduce boredom-related risks.

A 16 year old foster child is in need of some hygiene products. She is placed with a relative. She goes to school full time and works 2 part time jobs. She is saving up to buy herself a car. She enjoys doing her own hair and others' hair. She is asking for some hair products to help her pursue her dream of doing hair. We appreciate your help!

Mother was recently reunified with her children in their family home. The mother has an outstanding balance on her water bill.

I have a youth who is aging out of care in June, and their placement has put in a notice that she needs to leave by May. The youth has found an apartment, but the deposit is $1,300 and she needs help paying it. The youth also has a toddler aged child.
