This family is requesting items for their only child's bedroom they are finishing setting up the child's room. They are keeping the home environment healthy and safe for the child and these items would help and benefit the child's safety. The family is requesting socks for a 4 year old child (size 9 in shoes) and underwear (size 5T). The family is requesting a dirty clothes hamper due to her dirty clothes currently being in plastic bags. The family is requesting a toy chest or toy organizer/storage of some sort due to her toys being piled in one corner of the room that could be a hazard to the child.

A single mother of 2 (ages 1 and 5) is needing assistance in getting a safe, reliable 5-point harness for her 5 year old who has autism. The 5 year old is a very vulnerable child, and does not understand simple safety instructions, such as to not get out of the car. She needs a more secure car seat as she currently only has a booster seat. She has now learned how to get herself out of her booster seat and has been placing herself in dangerous situations, however she is unable to recognize the danger. By helping this mother get this car seat, you are helping to ensure this child gets to every place she needs to be safely. Mother will be able to reuse this item for her 1 year old as well.

This family is also in need of a high chair for the 1 year old. Mother does not have any dining items, such as a table/chairs. While she has made do without that, when she has to feed both children it can be very difficult. Her 5 year old is a very active child. If she has a high chair, she will be able to have a safe place to sit her 1 year old during feeding times while also managing her 5 year old. She is doing this alone, and any help she could get would greatly strengthen this family.

The household is Mother, her 7 children, and 1 child that was placed with her. She is fictive kin for the child. The Mother is looking to get a twin size bed for the child and some bedding for him. He is 13 years old. There is no preference on anything.

Father is a single-parent of five young children including a newborn child. Mother is currently not involved as she currently struggling with substance use and homelessness. Father is in great need of three queen size beds for his children to sleep in. Father has been able to obtain queen bed frames from the community and social supports, but has not been able to locate the correct size bed. They are currently residing in a two bedroom home. The children are currently sleeping an air mattress to sleep throughout the night. Father will be extremely grateful for any assistance for this matter. The children will also be grateful to be able to sleep on a solid bed for the night.

A single mother is needing a box frame or something similar for her child. She was able to get a queen mattress for him and is needing the bottom portion for him. This mother has finally obtained housing after being denied numerous times. This mother has not given up to ensure she reunifies with her child.

This single mother and her six year old have been learning and growing together. The child is autistic and nonverbal making him have more needs and attention given to him. The mother has been on top of his school and getting him services and has also started working with him to grow independently. She is teaching him skills to thrive in this world on his own, little by little. The family just moved into their new home and between working two jobs, it is still hard on her to meet all of the finances. The mother requested help with obtaining a tall dresser for her son, so he can put all of his clothes. This way she could also place things on top of the dresser and out of his reach. She had also been needing assistance in getting pull ups(large size) and wipes for her son since he is not fully potty trained yet. There is no father in the picture in which all the responsibilities fall onto her and she has been trying to keep her small family afloat.

We have a long list of women who would like a new sewing machine so they can mend clothing for their families and/or make money with a sewing business. New machines are preferred because it costs a lot to clean, troubleshoot, and repair older machines. Walmart sells a basic Brother brand machine for about $90.

This family needs a variety of home goods, including a hand mixer, pots, twin sheets, king sheets
