This request is for a 16 y/o girl in permanent custody. She has recently moved into a group home after a lengthy hospital stay. She has grown out of her clothes and is in need of new clothes and underwear. Any help is appreciated.

This mama is now entering a transitional housing program and is excited to begin her journey to becoming healthy for her 2 year old son. Hello! I have a single mama in need of rental assistance. This mama has a 7 year old daughter that she has part time and just was reunited with her teenage daughter a couple months ago after 10 years apart. This mama has come so far in improving her life and overcoming bad circumstances she was given. This mama continues to work hard to make ends meet and is even trying to do volunteer work with her program to hopefully get a rental discount this month. She got behind due to slow work and having to put in money for her truck. I am asking for $400 dollars in assistance but any amount will be so helpful and appreciated! Thank you so much!

Mom and children left a domestic violence situation with very little belongings. Mom has found a wonderful place for them to stay, but just needs a toddler bed and mattress for one of the children. Mom has been working full time for a long time and is doing everything she can.

A family of 3 is in need of help paying their electric bill. Mom has made a lot of progress in her services and has been able to reintegrate the children back into her home and is now looking for a job. However, she fell behind on her electric bill and is in need of some assistance until she secures a job.

Please bless these parents with two bus passes so they can get to services. We have a set of young parents who are open and willing to engage in services. However, they do not have reliable transportation. Please help us strengthen this family by blessing them with two bus passes. God Bless!

We are requesting assistance for a foster family who recently welcomed two children into their home. The foster parent is working full-time, and the children are attending the Boys & Girls Club during the summer for daily care and enrichment activities.

The monthly cost for the Boys & Girls Club is $130 per child, totaling $260 per month for both children. Additionally, there is a $62 activity fee for the month of June & July, which covers special Thursday outings such as skating, movies, and trips to the zoo. We are seeking support to cover:     •    June Boys & Girls Club fee: $260     •    June activity fee: $62     •    Total support requested: $322 (Additionally, I requested $200 for gas for FM transportation needs driving from Pryor to Chouteau)

This support will help ensure the children have a safe, structured, and fun summer experience while their foster parent works.

I have foster parents who are caring for their nephew and their air conditioning has gone out for the second time and they're unable to to fix it or purchase a window AC unit of their own at this time. They would be extremely grateful to receive any assistance to help them get through the summer.

I am working with a biological family of three. The child in the household is a big, always growing two year old boy! This big guy has been a delightful addition at his daycare, which he attends full time. The daycare he attends has a one time "summer activity fee" of $75 that is the responsibility of the parents to pay. Mom is looking for jobs, but the family is currently a single income household struggling to make ends meet. Dad will have surgery and is expected to miss a week of work at the beginning of July. This family is is in need of assistance with groceries, diapers, wipes, and the one time daycare activity fee.

Upon meeting with a family, DHS worker was visiting with a family and was informed of various financial struggles. The family is past due on 2 or more bills including their electricity and internet bill. The amount in the request is the full PSO amount. The Cox bill is in the $100+ area. The family experienced a break-in in March and had many of their valuables stolen. Two of the children in the home are on the Autism spectrum, one is facing legal troubles and the other has serious heart defect. Only one of the parents is working full time while the other stays home with the children. They do not receive any state benefits other than Sooner Care.
