Single pregnant mother. Client lost her job for a short time and has since obtained employment. During her unemployment she fell behind on her gas bill. She has been diligent to pay on her past due amount; however, her gas service has been shut off. She has paid the bill down to $395 to get her gas service turned back on. Any assistance will help with hot water and for heating as the fall weather approaches.
Single pregnant mother. Client lost her job for a short time and has since obtained employment. During her unemployment she fell behind on her rent. She has been diligent to pay on her past due amount; however, she has recently received an eviction notice. She has been advised that if she pays $400, the eviction will be revoked, and she will have until October 1st to pay the remaining balance owed. Any assistance will help the clint avoid homelessness.
This family relies on a single income to support their family as the second parent in this home is unable to work because she must care for their medically complex child. The family recently lost their income and are struggling to meet their basic needs. Please assist the family with a gift card to Walmart or Aldi for food.
Parents of two surviving children who recently lost their oldest son over the summer is in need of help with rent. Between funeral expenses, and moving expenses, family has gotten behind. Both parents work but their finances are tight. Any help with their rent would allow them to keep their home and focus on healing over their child's death.
The aunt is in need of help due to the unexpected situation of getting both of her toddler nephews. Anything helps. Thank you! The family needs clothes and shoes and that is what the other expense is. 4T AND 7T and shoe size 5 and 7.
This family is needing help with a bunk bed for the children. They were able to use resources to acquire mattresses, but would like a frame before bringing the new beds in. Thank you!
Placement home. This placement has BED BUGS and needs to be treated as soon as possible. The children in the home need this done for their safety. This is a really good medical and behavioral placement. If you are able to help this child in his placement, please reach out to help. Thank you.
Daughter has very demanding mental health needs which has caused Dad to lose two jobs this year. Daughter needs a long term residential program but it is not covered by Mom's insurance. It would be covered by Dad's COBRA insurance but they cannot afford to pay for the COBRA and everything thing else that needs to be paid for. Daughter is currently at a short term facility, but the staff believes she needs a long term treatment facility. Mom works and Dad is looking for employment. Their immediate financial need is the electricity bill with Evergy. It is $1600 and they have a notice of termination for 09/09/2023. The family is doing everything that they can to get the daughter help, they have just hit a hard time. The total bill is a lot of money, but any assistance would go a long way in helping the family get daughter help and the family closer to financial stability.

Family of two working parents and two children need immediate assistance with rent. Over the summer, family lost their oldest child in a terrible accident and between the funeral costs and some financial instability from father needing to work away from home and not having steady employment. Family has gotten one month behind and the family can catch up if they can get assistance with this month. If they do not, family is at risk of being homeless.
Cornerstones of Care has a family in desperate need of financial rental assistance. Due to the increase of inflation and everything continue to rise the family has fallen very behind on rent resulting in an eviction notice. This family continues to utilize all resources COC provides and offers. They are continuing to seek other employment opportunities as well. Anything to keep the family within Kinship placement in this home is appreciated. If donating, the donations will go directly to the case worker and the case worker will provide the leasing company with payment. No donations will be given directly to the family as we're in contact with the leasing company.

A young single mother to three girls is in need of financial help to pay off the fines she accrued after receiving a DUI. This mom has worked tirelessly to reunify with her older two daughters, and provide a stable home for the child she just had. Children's Division is ready to send the girls home to their mother now that her extensive alcohol treatment program is completed, but this mom is still struggling to get her license back in good standing because her fee's need to be paid first before anything else can be done. We realize this is a big request, but the intention of DUI fines and sentences is to prevent repeat offenders, which is exactly what it has done, but this mom simply can't adequately care for her daughters without her license. This mom works as a certified nursing assistant, and is wanting to go to school to get her nursing degree, but she's struggling to get the ball rolling with the lingering effects of court fees.
Children's Division is working with a single mom of four. The family has lost a number of things due to being homeless and have recently found a place to live. The Family is also in need of kitchen supplies (Pots, pans, dishes, silverware, ect), toiletries, laundry soap, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, pillows, sheets, blankets, and a first aid kit. The mother is also needing a new wheel alignment on her car and a radiator replaces. She states that she has the parts, she just needs help getting them put on correctly. She would love a washing machine as well but knows that it is a huge ask.
