Kinship placement as well as the Department have some concerns about child's behavior/activities in the home due to recent substance use and lying. Would like to put cameras in common areas of the home for safety purposes. We are thinking between 4-6 cameras would be appropriate.

Hello! I am currently working with grandparents who are serving their granddaughter as her kinship foster parents. Their granddaughter, 3 years old, is the victim of shaken baby syndrome. This child was shaken to the extent where she is immobile and in a vegetative state. She is receiving excellent love, care, attention, and support from her family as well as all service providers. Unfortunately, the family does not have the means to transport the child without the use of a Medicaid transport van. We are requesting help from our community to supply this family with a handicap-accessible van that includes a wheelchair lift. Thank you for considering helping this family!

Hello! We have a family who is in desperate need of groceries. This family is a placement for a child and to keep the child within the placement of their other bio family members, they need help with groceries. If you're able to donate a grocery gift card, it would make a huge difference!

I have a high school student with extensive vision needs who requires special prescription eyeglasses and lenses. She just went to the doctor for new glasses on 4/21/25. After insurance coverage, this student's uncle still has to pay $172.20 out of pocket, which is a financial hardship for the family. We are requesting funding for the patient contribution amount of $172.20. We appreciate any assistance you can provide - thank you!

My clients in the Hollins Motel have reached out again to request payment for their room until Saturday. She stated that the initial check from her second job got sent back so she has not gotten paid yet but she feels that she is very close to getting over the hurdle they have been experiencing lately and that she can take over payments if she can get through to Saturday. Therefore, I am requesting the Motel payment from today (Wednesday)-Saturday.
