Hello, A sweet young expectant mother is requesting a window unit for her home. She has a 2 year old little boy now and is worried about being able to financially make it work with having a second child. With this love and encouragement from our local church, meeting this specific physical need would go a long way for her hope for the future. Thank you for taking this request into consideration.

Biological mother has been granted overnight visits with her 5-year-old child, which will start around 6/27/25. Biological mother does not have an appropriate bed for the 5-year-old child who is autistic. A mattress and bed frame are being requested as the child is going to have unsupervised visits which will then allow the child to have an appropriate sleeping arrangement during this time and in the future. A bedframe and mattress have been selected from Walmart for $190, if possible. The bedframe is called: Homfa Twin Size LED Bed Frame with Drawer, Velvet Upholstered Platform Bed with Adjustable Petal Headboard for Kid. Mattress is called: SynthoSpace 8 inch Memory Foam Mattress, Twin Size Mattress in a Box, Medium Firm for $99.

Mother receives housing assistance and is unemployed. Mother has been looking for a job but cannot currently afford to purchase a bed for her daughter.

Household consist of 2 adults and 5 children. The family's financial situation is difficult as one parent is a school staff and is not working this summer to care for children. Another parent is a full-time employee. The kitchen is infested with roaches. Family plans to get extermination services however they have prioritized children's summer programs and children's sports. At this time the family cannot afford extermination services on their own.
