At our summer kids club we provide lunch for a diverse set of students, Tuesday - Thursday at Noon. Each Summer we ask churches, families, or individuals to come serve meals to our students. We typically have around 60 students enrolled. In some cases, there are left over food, and this will be used towards a day when no one is signed up to bring food. We would love for you to partner with us to serve these students that perhaps wouldn't have food during these days if it weren't for opportunities like these. We have started a sign-up genius to allow volunteers to sign up to serve meals.

In our program we provide a snack each day that our children come to our Summer Kid's Club. These children are in our care during many hours that they would be left unattended and many only eating once per day. We provide lunch and snack. We also bridge the learning gap that happens to many during the summer. Keeping their little bellies full helps to open their minds to instruction and care. We prefer a fruit or veggie along with something like gold fish or peanut butter crackers.

Hello all, I am hoping you can help a very dear family. They are 5 adults and 2 children, living in a household that are looking for rental assistance. The family had to leave a previous location due to being uninhabitable, and the previous landlord did not correct the issues. The family has exhausted other resources by staying with other family members and was even homeless for a day. The family was able to obtain a They were able to find a place to stay, but are in need of deposit for the rental by this Saturday (2 days from now). The deposit is $1500. The family is unable to come up with the deposit due to fixing their vehichle which is their only mean for transportation, allowing them to work. Meeting this immediate need for this family will allow them to maintain shelter.

Please consider helping a family of 6 currently struggling due to financial issues, health, and loss of employment. The mother has been out of work since November but recently was able to gain employment and started this past week but will not receive her first paycheck for a couple more weeks; the father is disabled and home with the children. The family recently moved in their grandmother that has been ill and had nowhere else to go, and she experienced a recent hospitalization due to her health. The family has 3 children, ages 5, 10, and 15. The family has been trying to stay afloat by paying when they can but are struggling to cover their water and electric bills for this month. The family could use assistance with their water bill ($305.08) and electric bill ($139.02). Support would allow the family to cover their rent and car expenses, without the risk of their utilities being shut off. The family expresses gratitude and would be thankful for any support.

Safe Families is working with a single mom of two year old boy recently fled from domestic violence situation and is in their own apartment. Mom is dealing with some medical issues that will require surgery soon and she is unable to work. The social security disability check was short this month, for reason still unknown. This left her short on rent and she was just given an eviction notice. Mom is taking steps to handle this issue to insure next months rent will be paid as usual. She is also working hard for the medical needs of her and her son. Helping support this family will keep them stable in their current living situation and prevent them from being homeless.

Single bio-mom does not have transportation and she needs a bus pass in order to get to/from court, services and family time. She is trying to reunify with her 2 y/o son. Thank you for your consideration!

A biological mother that I am currently working with recently completed time in prison for mistakes that she made and completed a halfway program following that. She is expressing that she would like to make changes in her life. She is currently living with a friend for a short time frame and reports that it would be helpful for her to get to services and to get a job if she had a bus pass.

Mother has worked diligently towards correcting the conditions which led to her son's removal last year. Mother hit the ground running to make every effort to initiate all things asked of her by her case worker and the courts. Mother has maintained housing, fully engaged in her court ordered treatment plan, and is able to share how the information discussed with her service providers has impacted her life and how she can now utilize these lessons in her day to day life as she navigates relationships in her life, stress, and parenting her toddler. As a result of the her hard work, the mother and son are now having overnight visitations and will soon enter trial reunification! Mother has been out of work, for over a year, but recently started work over the last month. Mother does not have her own transportation and walks roughly 45 minutes each day one way in the unpredictable Oklahoma weather conditions. Mother could benefit from 2-3 pairs of black work pants and a 1-2 more pairs of comfortable non/anti slip shoes as she works on her feet all day. Additionally, mother needs a lock box in order to keep her medications safely secured from her curious toddler. Currently the medication is stored on top of a high shelf, but a lockbox would be an added benefit to keep her medications stored safely and give her peace of mind. Any help to support this family would be greatly appreciated by myself and the family :)

A mother is in need of a bus pass as she does not have a car of her own. She has to take the bus to work, to her required services, and to visitation with her child and struggles to afford the pass without assistance. Providing this pass will give her a greater chance of completing what is required for her to reuinify with her child.

We have a foster mother that has really gone above and beyond to help a 13 year old boy with several disabilities, and there are 3 other children in the home. She's opened her home in order to take him in and even moved to the living room so that he can have her room instead. She's been struggling with some major home repairs and we've been unable to find help for those issues. We are asking for some help with her water/municipal utilities in order offset those other expenses. Her current water bill is $201 approx. Any help is greatly appreciated!

A father of a 1 year old was granted unsupervised visits. He is employed full time but unable to pay for a car seat at this time. He would like to take his child to the zoo or the library for story time. He has reliable transportation but needs a little help.
