This client is moving into an apartment but needs help with moving furniture that another church has donated. The church has a Uhaul that they are willing to buy. They need help moving the furniture from the donated house to the client's apartment. This client does not have a lot of support and help.

We are working with a caring grandmother who is taking care of her grandchildren full time, but she was diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. As a result of the therapy she is losing her hair, and it is causing her a lot of emotional distress, since she is not able to afford a wig. Helping her to feel dignified will make a significant difference in her life and will add to her emotional well-being and also that of her grandchildren.

I am reaching out on behalf of a family in need of support. The family consists of a devoted elderly woman who adopted her niece as a baby, stepping in to provide love and stability when the child was at risk of entering the foster care system. Now a teenager, this young woman is preparing to begin her senior year of high school—grieving the recent loss of her father while continuing to thrive academically. Despite the challenges they face, the teen has maintained straight A’s and has her heart set on attending Louisiana State University to pursue a career in forensics. She would be the first in her family to graduate from high school and attend college—an extraordinary milestone made possible by her resilience and her adoptive mother’s unwavering support. Due to her age, the adoptive mother is unable to work and lives on a very limited income, making it difficult to manage the growing expenses of senior year. However, she is determined to give her daughter the full experience she’s earned so she can feel the pride and joy of her accomplishments. I am requesting a $150 Visa gift card to help cover some of these expenses, including school supplies, a senior ring, and graduation items. This support would not only help ease a financial burden but would also be a meaningful investment in a young woman’s future and a celebration of all she has achieved.

We're currently working with a family that has had to abruptly move due to their young sons being around negative influences and causing them to get into trouble. Due to the move they're needing help with beds for the children as they are currently sleeping on the floor. The move has been a great positive change for these children and we'd like for them to start getting better sleep.

The family has been struggling to obtain housing and has been staying in various shelters and motels. They have an 11-month-old child and another baby on the way. The family is requesting support with a stroller that can convert to accommodate both children, as well as a high chair. Having these items would help them care for their children more independently.

I'm working with a single mom who is participating in the Prevention Program, which is voluntary. She just moved to Colorado a few months ago with her four children and does not have any furniture. She works as a CNA and does not have much family support in Colorado. The only furniture this single mom has are beds for her children. She is in need of a bed for herself, large couch, kitchen table, coffee table, and 2 lamps. Her apartment doesn't have a ceiling light. She would really appreciate any help you can provide. A family of two - a single mom and her 11 year old son - are in great need at this time. The mom is unhoused and doing everything she can to get by. She is very resourceful and accesses the public library and various community resources for assistance. She is in need of personal supplies such as hygiene products, non-perishable food items, clothing, and items for her son. She would greatly benefit from a gift card to Walmart to be able to get these supplies. She is working hard to become employed, gain stability, and be able to care for herself and her son, and this gift card would make a huge difference for this family! 2. For mom: Medium clothes, 8 in women's for shoes; for kiddo: 8-10 and a 6 in boys' shoes. They've been homeless for a long time and many of the belongings that she and kiddo once had were stolen, lost, or damaged, so it would be really meaningful for him to have something from mom that he can keep and have with him. He ha very recently been removed from mom and placed in a foster home.

I have two girls (10 and 9) on my caseload, their mom has severe mental health issues, and their dad is incarcerated, and they are being raised by their grandparents who struggle financially. The grandparents are doing the best they can for the girls but they need help getting the girls tablets so they can continue to engage in counseling online, play games and interact with their friends.

Both girls would like a tablet so i am asking for two but one will be good- they share everything so i think it will all be okay if we only receive one.

A family I am currently involved with needs an additional bed for an 9 year old boy so he can have his own bed .Mom is completing nursing school and is needing help for a bed for her older son who is 9 so he can have his own bed. A pair of brothers, ages 15 and 9 years old have been living in kinship care with their grandparents due to concerns of domestic violence and physical abuse by their stepfather. The boys came to their grandparents with limited clothing and hygiene products. The grandparents were able to get the boys some winter clothing when they came however, now that it is summer, the clothing they have for them is not weather appropriate. They are needing a gift card to be able to go purchase summer clothing that will fit and be appropriate for the boys over the summer. Grandparents live on a very fixed income with them being retired and could use help with getting a gift card.

Single mother requesting assistance in the form of Gift Cards if possible to purchase clothing for the summer for her three kiddos. The oldest kiddo wears size Large clothing , the other two kiddos were between size Xl to 2XL.Unfortunately the places they have gone in the community do not have clothing in the kiddos sizes. Also requesting some assistance with some cleaning supplies. Hoping that by getting new clothing will help boost kiddo's confidence.

Grandfather needs a gas gift card to travel from CO Springs to Littleton weekly to bring child for sibling visitation and visitation with his mom. Grandfather is out of work currently and he has a lot on his plate helping out and this would greatly help. He would be appreciative of this kind gift.
