A SINGLE MOTHER NEEDS HELP. A single mother does not have transportation right now. She is needing a way to get around and a bus pass would be a great help so she can make her appointments. She does not have many supports that can help her and a 31- day bus pass could be great. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Burmese Family #1
Catholic Charities will welcome a Burmese refugee family in December. This family is a mom with three teenagers. We do not have beds for the family and would welcome help providing the family with beds. I do not have a firm date for when they will arrive in December, but we will set up their apartment on December 4th. Then after they are welcomed at the airport, they will go straight to their furnished apartment with their case manager!
Gender Neutral Items are best.
Catholic Charities will walk with this family thru immediate case management for 3 months after their arrival. We will help with apartment set up, legal documents (like SS#), job placement, establishing medical care, enrolling the kids in school, and much more. Helping the family with household items is a huge way to help the family get established in Tulsa!

A father is working a prevention case and is ready to engage in services. He visits his younger children and has an older child full time. His son has a lot of medical needs and this father has a car, but it needs some front end work to be operational. The father is doing the work himself, but is needing help with the parts as he is currently unemployed. He needs to get his car up and running to provide transportation for his son and to get to work when he finds work.
We are asking for help obtaining parts for his car.
We are also asking for anyone who knows of labor/construction/machine work to help provide him with leads.
He has lots of experience in construction, demolition, driving some heavy machinery, and general labor. He has also had experience training people at Amazon.
Thank you for all the help you provide our families in their times of need!

A young mother of 5 young children is working a prevention case with OKDHS. She has been working hard to gain independence from a violent relationship to protect herself and her children. She is in need of transportation for her and her children. We are asking for help in providing Lift vouchers/passes for this family. This will enable her to transport the children to school and daycare as well as allow her to go to her service appointments and job interviews. We are also asking for help in providing these children with car seats. This mother needs 3 booster chairs and one toddler seat. Thank you for your generosity in helping our families in need.

We are currently working with a mom of a 9 year old boy. She is doing great in engaging in services and is doing everything to reunite her family. Mom is currently struggling with the price of gas though. Her job has moved across town and it is a further commute. Additionally, her son is nearly 2 hours away. Worker is assisting in transporting mom to visit him, but she would like to be able to see him more. Phone calls are not enough. To top it off, her car is starting to have some issues starting. Mom is unsure of what the cause of the problem is. It would be greatly appreciated if she knew of a mechanic that would be willing to help her out and figure out what is wrong with her car. If not, the amount it would cost to visit a mechanic of her choosing. As I said, mom is doing everything in her power to reunite her family and trying to see him as much as she can. If you feel that you can assist in any way, I would be happy to connect you to the her. It would be greatly appreciated.

I have a seriously disabled child who has recently returned to his bio mother's home. There are two other children and a stepfather in the home. Mom needs a portable ramp to help her get the child into and out of the home. This is a rental home so she cannot have something permanently affixed to the property.
I have a dad who is attempting to reunify with his two children and soon his unborn child. He just lost his job and needs assistance with gas cards to help him get back and forth to appointments/visitations.
