We have siblings (two girls) in our custody who need assistance with clothes and softball gears. They are sweet girls, have mild manners, and do well at school. Both girls are actively participating in sport event all year round. The foster parent has been providing for their needs but needs help at this time purchasing the girls' softball mask size 6, softball bat sizes 27-17, and size 26 inches. They also need softball bags, clothes, and shoes. Meeting these needs would help the children's stay on the team. We are thankful for any help you can provide. Hi, I am a permanency worker and I have a family on my caseload in need of grocery assistance. Dad reentered the children's lives after they were removed from their guardian. Dad has made incredible progress in rebuilding his relationship with his son and daughter and is moving into a larger home to be able to take his them. The daughter is currently in a shelter and is very excited to move in with her dad! The family will be starting trial reunification on April 16th and are needing assistance with groceries until they are able to apply for food stamps once the children move in. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Parents work to support their child. They are working and providing for their child's needs but could utilize some help getting him a twin size bed to sleep in.

Help strengthen a bio family. They are in need of help with electricity and water bills as they just moved out of a domestic violence situation!

A strong foster mom of two is enrolling her 13 year old foster daughter in school, but is unable to purchase the necessary school supplies. The foster mom is needing a backpack, notebooks, binders, folders, notebook paper, a pen case, and writing utensils such as pens, pencils, and highlighters.

A 17-year-old boy living in a group home is in need of some additional clothing, as he's lost some over different transitions and growth spurts. His sizes are 3x for tops and pants (he'd like hoodies and joggers) and he wears an 11.5 shoe. He likes green and black mostly to wear and does not wear jeans or non-stretchy pants. Anything to help support him as he starts his journey to aging out would be appreciated. He mentioned he can usually find things he likes at Ross.

Bio mom obtained new housing and needs assistance with the electric startup fee being paid.

This request is being made to help an adoptive family out. This family has opened their home to their niece who is a little over a year old and are providing for all her cares and needs. The family is concerned that she is about to grow out of her crib and is looking to get a bunk bed for the room because she shares the room with another child in the home. The room is smaller and that is why they are wanting assistance with a bunk bed.

Hello! I am working with parents on a reunification case. Both parents are working hard on their services to help them to correct conditions that lead to their child coming into OKDHS custody. The parents are having difficulty paying their rent. They are currently behind for last month in the estimated amount of $450.00 The total for their rent is $875.00 One parent is working, and the other is actively looking for a job. Helping these parents would help them to get back on their feet until they can both be working full-time and making enough to pay all their bills. I have a family that is in trial reunification with their children. The parents were both working parents and now they are down to one income due to having a baby in the NICU. The baby was born earlier this month with Spina Bifida. The mother is staying in the city close to the baby and the father is having to drive back and forth for work and tend to the other children. We are asking for gas cards to be able to help the father with all the extra driving back and forth to the hospital to help reduce his stress and worry over financial for gas in the vehicle. I asked for one card with $200 on it to last him awhile as we are not sure how long the baby will be in the NICU. I am also asking for help on rent to be paid for the month of April. Rent for March as already been covered. These parents are very thankful for the help they receive and are ones when they can will pay it forward.

We had a family come through Abbott House today that is in dire need of rental assistance. Mom has a full-time job and is a single parent raising 3 children. She makes just a little bit over the minimum amount that would allow her to apply for assistance. Her rent alone is $949 and is due April 1st. She only has a month left on her lease and plans to try to find something more affordable moving forward. We provided her with a thorough list of resources that can potentially help her later on, but due to the rent being due next Tuesday, I do not think that will be enough time to help her right now. She broke down in tears when discussing the stress of this financial toll. I am putting that MAX amount that would be helpful, but she would be grateful for ANY amount of assistance. This mom just called to check in. Her rent is due tomorrow. I know the large amount is probably keeping the request from being met, so I just want to make sure it is understood that any amount helps. It does not have to be the full amount requested. I just want to try to take some of the financial stress off of mom's plate. Thank you!

I have a family on my caseload who are in trial reunification and they are in need of an exterminator. This family has sprayed for cockroaches before, but the bugs will not go away. They need help. Their case closes in April, so I want to help them before the case closes. Thank you for any help you can provide to this wonderful family!!
