This family consists of 6 children, two female ages 10 and 2 and four males ages 7, 6, 4 and 10 months. The family recently moved to America for a new start and opportunities but are in need of a stroller for the 10 month old as the one she has broke. Thank you!

A single mother currently has custody of her 15-year-old stepdaughter and is raising five children on her own. Since the stepdaughter has come into her care, she has been sharing a bedroom with the stepmother’s biological daughter. In an effort to make space for her, the stepmother gave up her daughter’s dresser, but they are now in need of an additional dresser so that both girls have a place to store their clothes. The family is also facing clothing shortages. The stepmother’s two-year-old son is growing rapidly and wears size 4T in shirts, pants, and underwear. Due to his growth and the family’s limited financial resources, she is struggling to keep up with his wardrobe needs. The girls in the home are also in need of undergarments. They wear bra sizes 34C and 32D, and underwear in sizes extra small and medium. Additionally, the two-year-old does not currently sleep in his own room. The stepmother is working to help him transition, but he needs a toddler bed frame and a mattress to make that possible.

A single mother of two children recently moved into her own apartment, after leaving a bad domestic violence relationship is in need of assistance for furniture. The mother asked the caseworker for a queen size bed frame, love seat/small couch and hygiene products.

The 16 year old often will not attend school due to not having any clothes. Both mother and child would benefit from having clothing. 16 yr. old- shirts (small), Short and pants (small). Underwear (small). Bra (size 32B), all no color preferences. Mom- Boys/men's clothing- small Sports bra- small Dark colors preferred.

I'm currently working with a single mom and her three-year-old son who just got a new apartment and are moving out of a shelter. The mom had her belongings held in storage, but the storage unit leaked causing them to lose everything. The child's father is incarcerated and unable to help provide. I believe this mother and her son would greatly benefit from community aid in hopes to replace some of what was lost. The mother is requesting clothes for her son sized 4T as well as a twin- and full-size mattress. The mother would also like a kitchen table and chairs. The family consists of a mother and her three children age 10, 5, and 1, she is also 7 months pregnant. The father of the children does not live in the home and has severe mental health issues therefore his support is limited. The mother cannot afford childcare and is a stay-at-home mom. She also was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The one child is obese and recently broke the bunk bed frame. The family is in need of a bunk bed set, 2 sets of twin sheets, twin comforters/blankets, a toddler bed with sheets/blankets, med/large men's clothing, 5/6 in girls' clothing, 2t/3t boys clothing, and a couch.

The resource obtained guardianship of three children after their adoptive mother passed away. The resource is struggling financially with the unexpected expenses associated with caring for three children. A request to change the childrens' adoption subsidy to the resource has been submitted but that takes time. The resource is requesting life jackets for the children can safely swim this summer. They need the following sizes: Life Jackets - 2 youth medium, 1 adult medium

This family consists of a single mom and her 4 year daughter. The mother has a steady job, but is in need of assistance as she is going through an intense DV situation. The mother is wanting to relocate herself and her child to a relative in Texas where she will receive familial support. The mother is wanting to take her vehicle and some important belongings with her for the move. The mother is needing assistance with gas for the 27 hour drive and with purchasing a trailer to connect to her truck.

After the recent passing of their mother, 3 siblings are living with their grandparents. The children have reconnected with grandparents, during this time the children are in need of basic essentials after having to leave their home. Given the adjustment, the family is in need of assistance with clothing and bedding for the children.

A single father of two children, one boy, 4 and a girl, 6, has recently been kicked out of his previous residence staying with his brother and sister in law. The family is now struggling with shelter and clothes. When they were kicked out of the home, they found shelter with DSS, but have not been able to get the children’s things from the previous address. The father is now asking for help getting some clothes and shoes for his children. For his daughter he is requesting pants/jeans size 7/8, shirts and hoodies size S/M, and socks and undies. For his son, he is requesting the same, pants/jeans size 6/7, shirts and hoodies size S, socks and undies size S, and shoes size 13 in kids, a 1 or 2 is also okay for child.

The family includes a child receiving services through the Early Intervention Program. The family recently moved to Albany and has not been able to furnish their apartment. The family is requesting a couch. The family is appreciative of any assistance they receive.
