Help Strengthen a Bio Family
The family consists of a mother and three children ages ranging from 6-12 years old. The family has had trouble with stability and has moved frequently due to inability to maintain their payments for rent. The family has just moved again and is in need of new bedding for the children's beds. The children's beds were observed to only have sheets and no comforters or pillows. Mother would appreciate any assistance to ensure the children have appropriate sleeping arrangements.

Help Strengthen a Bio Family
Family was displaced from previous address due to eviction in Fall 2024. From Fall 2024 - Spring 2025 family was displaced in various locations to include shelter and family homes. During that time family lost nearly all of daily items needed in household. Mom is working to reestablish herself and her children and could use any of the following items:
Living room furniture Dinette Table Set Deep Freezer Queen Bed Set Bedding Pots Pans Silverware Dishes Television (if there is one) BBQ grill (if there is one)
This is a large family - Mom has 6 children and one grandchild living with her. All items do not need to come together - she will be thankful for any items on the list so if only some items are available at a time from one location that is okay for her. She will take whatever from the list she is able to receive. Thank you in advance for your consideration!

Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing
A family consisting of a Mother and 15 year old boy could benefit from assistance within their community. Mother is working several jobs to support her family and providing this additional assistance can make a hug impact for the family. The family could use a new area rug for their living room due to their current one having an odor of pet urine. Their elderly dog has had multiple accidents on this rug over the years and providing the family with a new one will improve the conditions of the home. Furthermore, the family could use assistance with moving a few large items (dressers and a table) out of the home to create more space. Mother has health issues that make moving these items incredibly difficult, even with the help of her son. The family's washer recently stopped working, so if the family could get assistance with a new washer for laundry to help with the smell, that would help the family greatly. They are grateful for any assistance provided. Thank you!

Help Strengthen a Bio Family
I am working with a mother who is working to get her kids back in her care. She has a 10 year old girl and a 4 year old boy who are temporarily placed with family. Mother is in the middle of a divorce from the stepfather and has been waiting for approval for disability for two years (Crohn's Disease) but now that she has to support herself, she is going back to work and is in need of scrubs for her new job. She is asking for cargo or jogger scrub pants (size XL) and scrub tops (size XL) and scrub jackets (size XL). She is not allowed to have any bright colors. Also, she needs white or black tennis shoes, size 8.5 women. The shoes must be closed-toed. Thank you so much for your consideration!

Help Make a Kinship Placement
New kinship has received placement of two twin babies who were removed due to neglect (malnutrition). Kinship placement is currently struggling financially and doing her best to care for these new children and work a full time job and take care of her biological children. We are requesting, if possible, a single stroller for twin babies (5 months old), the type that can fit two babies at once. Thank you very much.

Help Strengthen a Bio Family
A family would like help with securing affordable summer activities for their child/family. The family would like to attend the Monon Center to aid in childhood enrichment, memory making, family bonding, and family fun. The child is a 7 year old with Autism who LOVES swimming and play grounds. This would allow the child to socialize with peers his own age during the summer months and allow the family to have fun outings. The mother is physically disabled and the Monon Center is handicap accessible. The family's finances are a bit strained due to the mother being unable to work. A family pass for the entire summer would be ideal. The monthly rate is $107 for a family each month. The family would like a pass for approximately 3 or 4 months.

Help Preserve a Kinship Placement
A 17 year old female and 5 year old male are currently placed with an unlicensed kinship placement. This week, the placement's refrigerator stopped working completely after the freezer was accidentally not shut all the way for an extended period of time. Due to caring for the children's needs, as well as an aging parent alone, the kinship placement cannot afford to get the fridge fixed. The kinship placement also had to throw away all of the food in the fridge. The children in the home identify this caregiver and this home as the only place they have ever truly felt safe and that has felt like home.

This family is also in need of gift cards to help support their transition during this trial home visit. The father has recently reunited with his children and is working hard to provide a stable and nurturing environment.
Gift cards—especially to grocery stores, gas stations, or general retailers like Walmart or Target—would be incredibly helpful. They would allow the father to meet immediate needs for food, household essentials, and transportation, while focusing on building a safe and supportive home for his children.
Any contribution would be greatly appreciated as this family takes these important steps forward together.

The child was removed from his mother's care due to concerns for housing instability following his mother's eviction. The mother was arrested the following day and is currently still incarcerated. The child was placed in kinship care in Indianapolis. The kinship placement caregiver is on a limited income and although there will be a minimal per-diem, it will be at least another month for payment. The kinship placement is requesting a twin size bed with a bed platform, as well as other appropriate bedding such as sheets, pillows, pillowcases, etc.
