We are celebrating Foster Care Awareness / Appreciation month by hosting a FREE POOL PARTY at River Country Water Parks in Muskogee Oklahoma. We will be inviting current foster and adoptive families from 10+ counties surrounding the Muskogee area to attend. In addition to the pool party, we will be offering information to families of local resources and churches that they can connect with as well as dates for summer activities for VBS and children / youth camps that churches are participating in and inviting children to come to.

The party will be Saturday, May 31st from 6:30-8:30pm with capacity being roughly 700-800 individuals. We will have an RSVP process for the families. We are asking for our networking churches to contribute to the cost of renting the water facility out - $1,200. Any amount helps! Please assist a family on a fixed income who have taken a kinship placement by providing beds, bedding, and essential safety items such as outlet covers, child safety gates, smoke detectors. This support will help ensure a safe and stable home environment for children as the family works to keep the children connected to their community and relatives.

The safety plan monitor is needing a bunk bed and two mattresses for the bunk bed. This will help preserve the placement for the children.

This bio family is in extreme need of beds for their children. This would help strengthen them with safe sleep protocol. The children are ages 3, 2, and 1. The family is currently co sleeping in a shared queen sized bed and couch. These beds would give safety and over all well being to the children.

Bio mom is in need of a gas card. She recently moved to Wagoner to be with her children but is still working and engaging in DHS recommended services in Tulsa. She drives back and forth between Wagoner and Tulsa everyday. Mom is struggling to afford gas on her own. Mom has recently been found safe and she wants to continue working and engaging in services. Any help would be much appreciated!

I am working a prevention case to prevent removal of 4 children from a single mother who lives with maternal grandmother and grandfather. Their electric is a prepaid account and is in danger of being shut off due to depleted funds. We are in need of funds to replenish their account. The family just bought food with their food stamps and is in jeopardy of the food ruining if the electric is shut off.

Two young boys ages 10 and 3 just were recently moved into a kinship placement. We were able to get them bunk beds and dressers for their room. But unfortunately the one thing missing is a television so that the oldest can plug his game up and get a break away from the littles running around the home.

Three children 8 year old boy, 7 year old boy, & 5 year old girl are in need of summer clothing. Foster mom reported all 3 children have hit a growth spurt and have out grown the few clothes they had arrived with. The sibling set were placed in a kinship foster home that had also has a daughter that is 6 years old ! The children are all settling in and are doing wonderful. Foster mom reported the children have seamlessly adjusted to becoming part of a sibling set of four. Due to jumping from a family of 2 to a family of 5 overnight, foster mom could use a little help clothing the sibling set of 3 for the upcoming summer months. Foster mom is need of children's hangers, shoes, socks, underwear, pjs & clothing. The 8 yr old boy is wearing size 13 - 13 1/2 shoes, size 7/8 tops and bottoms. The 7 yr old boy is wearing size 12 - 12 1/2 shoe, 6/7 tops & bottoms. The 5 yr old girl is wearing show size 10 -10 1/2 & size 5 in clothing. Adjustable waist is preferred for bottoms for all 3 children.

I have a family living in a sober living house that has moved into a room that had bed bugs. Now, all their stuff has been infected and we are needing money for a storage unit and 3 mattress protectors. The storage unit will be used to store all their things while we bomb them to kill any infestation. The family can not afford to replace all their items. The beds were purchased around 2 months ago and are new with new mattresses. We need the storage unit to also prevent the bed bugs from spreading to other areas of the home and disrupting more families. This is needed ASAP as we will have to address the issue today. Please help a grandmother who is caring for two littles while their parents are working services. The grandmother is on a fixed income and has fallen behind on her utility bill. The grandmother previously made a payment agreement that she was unable to keep. The grandmother is at risk of having her utilities cut off. Thank you.

4 month old baby who has high medical needs. Foster parents have a great support system to help get baby to and from all of the doctor appointments, however, the foster family is need of a car seat that fits their current base and stroller. It is an infant, backwards facing Graco "Snugride" 35LX
