Mother is involved due to lack of resources to support her children and being found living out of her car. the children then went to foster care, and mother is still continuing to live out of her car. This has been open since February and DCS has been doing everything necessary to help mother get on her feet. The barrier is that she has a disability that limits the amount of work that she can do. This claim is set to be heard next month and until then she is not able to job search or else it is cancelled. DCS has exhausted resources due to company financial changes and are not able to provide assistance for gas, food, or housing anymore. Mother is very loving and protective of her children but has trauma that does not allow her to cope with the children's behaviors well. She is doing all of the services to better her mental health so that she can be the mom she wants to be to her children. I really want her to have stability so that the children can have something to look forward to and see that their mother is doing well getting onto her feet. She has been to a lot of places to for housing, but nothing seems to be good enough for her and would rather live out of her car at the moment. For now, I would like her to have assistance with gas to get to and from visits with her children until the claim is figured out. This will be a long-term barrier for her but with this it would be a start.

A single mother of four children is in need of help with obtaining mattresses for herself and her children. The mother had to get rid of current beds due to bed infestation. The family is currently using a pull-out couch for the children, while the mother is using a standard couch. This will help benefit the family as they can have either own space to sleep and rooms for space and privacy.

A family of 7, 4 children and 3 adults. Mom is the sole provider for the family and she brings home $900-$1,200 biweekly. Mother has trouble paying for rent and often pays late. Mother is tight of money as she had to have emergency surgery at the beginning of the year. Family is living in a duplex house, 3 apartment. The family has no hot water, mother has to boil water for sponge bathes. The water heater has been broken since August of 2024. The issue has been brought up to the landlord several times but he never addresses the issue. The landlord only cares about collecting rent from the family.

Single mother of 3 small children is struggling to make ends meet. A gas card would be beneficial for mother to transport children and to be able to get back and forth to work freeing up extra money for other necessities. An exterminator would benefit the safety and wellbeing of the children to stay healthy form bed bugs and cock roaches.
