A single mom in need of a couch for her home. She has an 18 year old with special needs, a 4 yo, twin 6 year old's, and a 16 yo. They do not currently have living room furniture, therefore to all spend time together, they do so in mom's bedroom.

We need some assistance for a 4 year old girl who was removed from her parents this morning due to concerns of drug use in the home. She has been placed with her grandmother who is doing everything she can for the child but is in need of some assistance. The child is in need of a car seat: a full booster seat with the back. Anything you can give for her and her grandmother would be helpful! Items or gift cards for items can be brough to the case manager at the DFCS office.

We have an Adult Sibling, who has taken custody of her three siblings ( 1 college, 7 year old and 3 year old). The recently moved into the new apartment and have most everything they need except a couch. We received a request for assistance from the GAL after he completed a home visit. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

We are in need of assistance for a single mother and two children: 9-year-old girl and 4-year-old boy. They have recently escaped a domestic violence situation with the father of the children. He was not allowing the mother to work or make her own income, so she is behind on her car payment. She was able to get a job since he was incarcerated but needs her car payment paid so the family does not lose their transportation as she is using the money from her new job to meet the basic needs of the children. Anything you can give to help would be greatly appreciated!

This is a family of 2 out of 4 children. Two of the boys 14 & 8 are placed with Kinship placement. Their parents are not able to assist with the children right now due to income. The family is living with in a 2-bedroom apartment with a total of 4 people in the home including 3 boys. Our two children are currently sleeping on an air mattress downstairs. The aunt is requesting bunk beds for the boys. The rooms are too small for 2 beds each right now. Placement is not able to buy a bunk bed right now. Any help would be appreciated to get the boys adjusted in the home.

We’re reaching out to request help for a family we are working with—a mother and father with six children—who are currently without a working dryer. As you can imagine, keeping up with laundry for a family of this size is already a full-time task, and not having access to a dryer has made things even more challenging. The children are being bullied at school because of the smell of their clothes. A working dryer would be an ideal blessing. However, gift cards to a local laundromat (Coin Laundry) would also be incredibly helpful and deeply appreciated in the meantime. The household includes a great grandmother, two-year-old child, and the child’s parents. Both mother and great grandmother have ongoing health conditions that make them unable to work, and father is currently out of work to care for them and the two-year-old child. The home is in need of immediate repairs and has holes in the floor and back door. Additionally, the home desperately needs to be cleaned and trash, broken glass, and rusty, sharp metal items removed. Items needed include: plywood or subfloor pieces, tarps, industrial/heavy duty garbage bags, and cleaning supplies. This request is for one child. A family friend has stepped in to care for the 12-year-old girl. Recently, she has been struggling making ends meet while she to care for her. However, she has hit a rough patch and needs help feeding her while she awaits her status of a new job prospect. This is the child's only caregiver. Requesting a food gift card to ensure her nutritional needs are met. She has received no support and has been voluntarily caring for the child for 10 months. To help alleviate this issue in the future, she has completed of her foster care training so that she can be a certified foster home (funding) provider. Any help would be appreciated to get her through this tight predicament.

Family of 3 is in need of a plumber as the toilets are not flushing. Everything else seems to be able to drain.

I have a client that has secured housing, and she is needing help with furniture and cleaning supplies. She has 4 children that are in a foster home. If client gets home ready for children, we eventually will be able to reunify the children to their mom.

cleaning supplies: paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning/mopping supplies, broom-dust pan, mop, towels and wash clothes, hand soap, body soap, shampoo. Mom also uses whitfield transit and could benefit from coupon books.
