Our agency is working with a single mother of four who is facing eviction and risks being displaced. She works and goes to school while providing for her children. She lost her job a few months ago which caused her to get behind on rent. She found a new job shortly after but didn't receive her 1st check for a few weeks and wasn't a full check. She is now receiving full checks with her new job and is able to cover her monthly expenses but she's playing catch up. Mom is taking summer courses trying to improve her future so she can be more stable for her family. Mom needs assistance catching up with rent then she'll be able to maintain expenses with her new job. We also referred mom to seek assistance through PRC so even help with half or a portion would be very helpful.

Family had a problem with their heat during the winter. They found out that the ductwork was faulty. This made them have to constantly run the heat to maintain a less than comfortable temperature. They just had a baby and needed to maintain as close to an appropriate temperature as possible. The landlord would not repair the ductwork. The father was eventually able to repair it himself. Mother was in school prior to birth. She will be returning to school to complete her program. Father does side construction work. Any assistance with this would be appreciated.

Grandma is a dedicated kinship caregiver to her 6 grandchildren. The family recently had a house fire and is now in their new home. However, as a result of the fire they are behind on their utility bills. They owe $736 on their water bill, as well as $171.50 on their electric. Grandma is proactive and has contacted numerous community resources, but no one is able to assist. Any help with these bills, even a portion of the balance, would make a huge difference for this family. Thank you!

Mother of two boys ages 13 and 6 and a daughter age 13 in need of 604.00 in rental assistance. Rent is 1404 and mother has the other 800 but cannot come up with the additional 604 needed. Mother works full time but cosigned on a family member's car and is having her checks garnished. Garnishment is almost met and mother has gained temporary custody of a family member's infant and is struggling to make rent with these added costs. Mother can make future payments due to her job but needs assistance bridging this gap. Landlord will not accept partial payment of rent.

Good afternoon! I am working with a single mother of two boys, who is currently in need of replacement beds for the children's broken toddler beds. The boys are ages 9 and 5. Both boys are developmentally delayed, and one has been diagnosed as severely autistic. Any assistance with this request would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you and God Bless!

Aunt is in need of some safety items for her home. She is needing cabinet locks, a baby gate, outlet covers and door knob covers. She is also in need of some diapers in size 6 and some baby wipes. Any help is appreciated!

Mother lost her job and is looking for employment. Mother is facing repossession of her car and is in need of $385 before the 27th of this month. Mother is also now facing eviction and is in need of $1000 for back rent. Mother is working diligently to pull herself back up out of this hole she has found herself in. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Mother is the process of reunifying with her 2 daughters. She has a bunkbed that is old and unstable. She is requesting assistance with replacing the bunkbed she has. One daughter has returned home. Mother states the second daughter is due to return very soon. She wants to make sure the children have a safe place to sleep. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

10 and 9 year old boys are in the process of a possible placement with a relative. This relative is on low income and has children in the home who the boys are bonded to. Our agency is out of extensions and have explored several placement options who have withdrawn from consideration. If this home study of this relative does not get approved, in all likelihood both of these boys will go permanent custody and transfer to adoptions. Currently this relative does not have the financial ability to get bunk beds and a twin bed. I am asking for help to get these beds for this relative so these boys can stay out of foster care and remain with family.

A loving grandmother has opened her home to her 8-year-old grandchild, who was attached by a dog in March while in the care of their bio father. Grandchild lost their left eye as a result of the attack and grandmother has been setting her priorities on the care of her grandchild getting them to and from appointments with hospitals, specialist and any other treatment the grandchild needs. However, this is impacting her work schedule with her full-time job. Grandmother has gone out to get a part-time job to help cover some expenses as it is more flexible but still isn't enough. Grandmother is needing assistance with their utilities to keep them from getting shut off.

Mother was living in homeless shelter, she is now residing with her parents and her and her child are in need of beds, she has not found a job yet and does not have the funds to purchase beds

Our agency is working with a mother who has a four year old autistic boy that is now big enough and smart enough to open doors and windows to find his way outside. As a result, referrals have been made to the agency because it is dangerous for him to wonder the neighborhood. His autism makes it difficult for his mom to redirect his roaming behaviors. Mom has had to take off work because of this which is causing financial instability. Mom could use locks and alarms for the doors and windows to help keep her son from getting out and roaming. She also needs a bed for her son. Right now he is either sleeping with her or his older siblings. Mom also needs help with her gas bill since she is not working. Her time off to help stabilize her son has caused her to get behind on the gas bill. Mom states that any help would be greatly appreciated.
