The family consists of 2 children with elevated developmental needs. The parents work full-time but with the children's elevated needs, they continue to struggle to make ends meet. The family is in need of a kitchen table, living room couch and bedding for both children.

DCCCA has been working with a family and is getting ready to pass services on to another provider who will work with reunifying children and parents. As a step in that process, the family needs to order birth certificates for two of the children in order to obtain housing. DCCCA would like to help the parents secure the certificates and begin working on obtaining stable housing before their case closes in the next few weeks. If you are able to assist in covering this cost to help these parents as they take steps to be able to have their children back to their home, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
Mother and father with 4 children ages 2-15 living in a 2 bedroom apartment with limited space. The father has just recently been able to work more hours due to work being seasonal. This mother and father are in need of a new bed and two youngest children as well who are sleeping in same room. The bed size need for parents is a queen. The 2yr old daughter and 8 yr old son would appreciate a twin bunk bed. Currently they are sleeping in a small toddler bed each. These beds will provide personal space for each child.
The family is also in need of a livingroom sofa and chair. This could be either a sofa and loveseat or sofa and chair. The family is not picky. Currently they have no sofa.
Thank you for considering to help this family as the oldest child begins therapy and the other children assist parents with language barrier while attending school.
John:
I will need all the details for adults (names, FULL address, phones, emails), children (ages & genders). I will put in the request, then make arrangements for delivery.
This family experienced a house fire in August that displaced them from their home. This family of 7 have been living in transitional housing and with family members over the last several months. They officially moved into their new place and are needing assistance with furniture items. Providing these items will allow for this family to finally settle into their new place. Twin bedding is for a boy.
2nd queen is not needed--met with family and measured room. Bunk will be best fit as added below. But can't delete second queen mattress and box as the others were funded.

Ordering a twin over full bunk with pull out trundle as the kiddos room is super small. This way all children have a bed!
A single mother and her three children are experiencing homelessness and are in need of temporary shelter until they can secure permanent housing. Mom is overwhelmed with the recent eviction and, although she is working, has spent all of her income on bills and on temporary housing for this past week (the family has to leave there on Friday, 3/10/23 at 10:00 am). We are asking for financial assistance for a hotel to prevent the family from living in their car, as this will increase the risk of removal of the children.
Thank you for your support and compassion towards the families we serve! Updated on March 17, 2023 by an Agency Worker This request remains extremely urgent. The family will be kicked out of the hotel where they are staying tomorrow morning.
The child has been saving for his GED but had to pay for his legal and court fees. He is hoping to be able to take his GED exam before court on March 6, 2023 so that he will have completed all the court requirements.
There is a teenage girl who has a case plan goal of APPLA who has had several mental hospitalizations over the past several months. She often feels really low in her mental health battles to where she doesn't want to interact with others, has had episodes of self-harm in the past, and just wants to feel better about herself. She does receive self-care time, but hasn't had a day where it's been all about her and doing something she has really wanted to do in a while. She has a desire to get her hair colored and styled professionally and feel better about herself. Receiving a gift card/certificate to Ulta Beauty where they have a salon and can help find products that will maintain that new hairstyle will make her feel much more confident and able to work on bettering herself to exit out of care, graduate high school, and move onto her dream college.
A child was placed with a relative placement. They are needing small dresser (not too big due to space) and a twin size bed for the child to sleep. He will also need a bed set. He prefer to have a mine craft bed set if applicable.

A sibling set of 5, with ages ranging 14 years old to newborn, have been placed with Grandma. Their aunt has to help out with transportation to and from school because Grandma does not have a vehicle that can transport all children at once. We are looking for a mini van or other vehicle that can safely transport 5 children and 1-2 adults. This is a reintegration case, but the children will likely be in relative care for the next 15 months or so. The vehicle is also something that will aid in a faster reintegration due to easing the complications of transport needs/visits/ etc. and help to establish permanency while keeping this sibling set together. * used vehicle is fine and the price does not have to be $10k.

Grandma has placement of three of her grandsons from Missouri foster care, ages 16, 13, and 12. A pipe in her front yard burst and needed to be replaced. She then was hit with another large bill in December when she needed to fill her propane tank to heat the house. Grandma is needing financial assistance to help with these unexpected bills. This would allow her to avoid going deeper into debt and ensure the family will have heat.
