I am working with a biological mother of five children. Mom is compliant with services and recognizes she needs help achieving sobriety. Mom has agreed to go to medical detox followed by inpatient care. Mom has identified past due rent as a barrier that would postpone or potentially prevent her from going to detox and inpatient care. Mom's monthly rent is just below $200 a month and she is behind by three months. Mom is currently looking for employment in order to pay the past due balance but could prioritize her sobriety and postpone job seeking if there was no past due balance.

Family is in need of one full mattress and one twin mattress. This family has now taken 5 children into their home as a kinship foster placement in the past ten months to avoid those children from being placed in traditional foster care, which brings the total amount of children they are financially providing 100% for to 6. They have been able to secure most items for the children including bed frames, but they are not able to afford new mattresses for the two children who were placed in their home two weeks ago.

After a long wait, living in cramped quarters with extended family, a single mother of a 2-year-old boy, 3-year-old girl, and a baby boy on the way, just got approved for a new apartment. She's currently in between jobs and would appreciate help with the deposit and first month's rent to expedite her move.

A mother of five was in a domestic violence situation. She has made sure her and her five children are safe but has no means to wash or dry clothes other than going to laundry mat. She does have washer and dryer hookups. The laundry continues to pile up. The family does not care if the washer/dryer is used.

Bio-parents are requesting help with getting a bus pass to continue to work to support themselves and to get back and forth to their family worker visits. The family is trying to continue to stay on track while training to be faithful on their family visitation. Please reach out to me if you are able to assist this family need.

We have a mother and daughter who have been brought back together. We have observed the mother and child to have a great bond. The mother just moved into a new apartment and will be starting a new job in the next couple of weeks. The mother has overcame many obstacle's in her life, and during our interaction with the mother we have observed an amazing turn around in her life. She is needing assistance with her rent and only has a short window of time to do so. If this barrier can eliminated it will help the mother save for incoming bills. We would like to add that this is a one time ask, because the mother believes she will be able to meet all of the needs in the home once she starts working full time. Hello! We are looking for a little help for a father that has successfully reunified with his children. This dad has really gone above and beyond to ensure his children were returned, and issues were corrected. There were some issues at reunification that actually resulted in the kids being returned about 3 weeks ahead of schedule. Dad needs a little help meeting the financial needs a little early. We are asking for a lawn mower any in working order will help! His yard is not large so a push mower is much appreciated. Shortly after the children were returned his clothes dryer bit the dust. We are asking for an electric clothes dryer in working condition if possible. Any help is appreciated!

I have a dad whose children have recently come into custody. He is needing an out of state birth certificate. We are requesting the funds to order the birth certificate so that he can obtain ID which he does not currently have. Without id, he cannot get a job or access services.

I have a single mother of four children whose van is currently not drivable due to two bad tires! She has had the tires patched and aired up several times, but she now has one tire that has gone completely flat and one that the spare tire is being used on! Receiving help with getting new tires would help her out tremendously to be able to transport her four children to and from appointments and activities!

We have been working with a family of three in Payne County for about two months. The home consists of a single mother of two very young girls. The mother has been working on maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for her children. She is working hard to be able to provide for her girls but often struggles due to low income. The mother would like assistance in obtaining funds to enroll in a driving school. The driving school in Cushing is called Safety First Driving Academy and the cost is $420. By providing this resource, the mother would be given the opportunity to gain more independence and provide more for her children, giving the family a feeling of being supported by the community. Please help a recently single mother who has fled from an unsafe situation. The mother has four littles all under the age of 6. The mother has taken the steps to keep her children safe by filing for divorce and relocating. The mother was displaced, and she is now attempting to rebuild her life. The mother has found a safe place for her and her children, but she is unable to come up with utility deposit.
