Please help this single mom of 3 kids with her car troubles. This mom who just reunified, has worked hard to get her and her children a vehicle so she could get them to all of their medical and services appointments. She is currently having car troubles with her 2015 Jeep Patriot Sport 4WD, she believes the radiator has a hole in it and she would benefit from having someone who knows cars take a look at it and help her fix it. Biomother is on overnights with her 5 months old infant boy. Biomother is engaged and doing well on her service plan. Biomother is moving into a sober living house that is farther from the center of town and requires multiple bus changes. Biomother needs assistance with an Uber or Lyft card to use to move her belongings to the new home and to get to her and her son's service providers when there is a shortage of time to transfer buses. This sibling group of five are placed in three separate homes at this time and we are wanting have a fun visit for all the siblings at the Discovery Lab and Gathering Place. The children do have behaviors due to being triggers for each other and we have found that the children respond better and have more fun when they have things they can play with while together. That is why we are requesting help to be able to take them to the discovery lab and gathering place for a day of fun together.

I am working with a biological mother of five children. Mom is compliant with services and recognizes she needs help achieving sobriety. Mom has agreed to go to medical detox followed by inpatient care. Mom has identified past due rent as a barrier that would postpone or potentially prevent her from going to detox and inpatient care. Mom's monthly rent is just below $200 a month and she is behind by three months. Mom is currently looking for employment in order to pay the past due balance but could prioritize her sobriety and postpone job seeking if there was no past due balance.

After a long wait, living in cramped quarters with extended family, a single mother of a 2-year-old boy, 3-year-old girl, and a baby boy on the way, just got approved for a new apartment. She's currently in between jobs and would appreciate help with the deposit and first month's rent to expedite her move.

A family is working a prevention case with OKDHS. Two young kids are currently placed out of home while the parents work hard to correct conditions to make it safe for the children to return home. The mother of these children is making quick progress. She has just gotten a good job that will help her family greatly. She has a vehicle but it is not running. She needs to get it running to be able to have transportation back and forth to work. The car needs a battery and an alternator to be operational. We are asking for help with providing this family with a battery and an alternator to help provide transportation for her employment and to allow her to visit her kids more often since she will not have to share a vehicle. Bio-parents are requesting help with getting a bus pass to continue to work to support themselves and to get back and forth to their family worker visits. We have a mother and daughter who have been brought back together. We have observed the mother and child to have a great bond. The mother just moved into a new apartment and will be starting a new job in the next couple of weeks. The mother has overcame many obstacle's in her life, and during our interaction with the mother we have observed an amazing turn around in her life. She is needing assistance with her rent and only has a short window of time to do so. If this barrier can eliminated it will help the mother save for incoming bills. We would like to add that this is a one time ask, because the mother believes she will be able to meet all of the needs in the home once she starts working full time. We have a father that is in need of a gas card. The father works fulltime and after paying bills he normally does not have the funds to put gas in his car. The father has talked about getting a second job and the gas card will help out until he is able to bring in extra income.

Hello, I have a foster parent in need of a couple of items to help with a baby in her care. First, she is asking for a walker. The 7-month-old she is caring for has started crawling and pulling up on everything. She would like to have the security of knowing he is not able to get himself stuck behind, between, or under something while she is cooking, cleaning, doing other household chores, or caring for the 2 two-year-olds in her care as well. That leads to her second request, a pack-and-play. The two-year-olds managed to climb into it, proceeded to jump around and broke hers. If you have either of these items that your little one may have outgrown recently, she would be very happy to take them off your hands.

The kinship resource family needs a convertible car seat for their second vehicle to safely transport the toddler.
