Please help a family providing a safe and loving environment for a kiddo in need. This family has generously opened their hearts and their home but due to the unexpected expense of another person at the family dinner table, they could really use assistance with a food donation. Any donation of perishable or nonperishable food items would be most appreciated. Thank you for supporting our most vulnerable children and the families who open their doors.

Current need for family are 2 twin bed mattresses. They made a request previous and received bunk bed frame and mattresses but the mattresses are TOO BIG for the bunk beds. They need smaller twin mattresses no longer than 75 inches and no wider than 38 1/2 inches to fulfill this need for the 6yo. They are also asking for a twin bed frame to use for the previous mattresses that they received so all 3 children have a bed and are not sleeping on the floor or the couch. If all cannot be met than the would like to focus the ask for smaller twin mattresses to fit the bunk beds.

A 5-year-old girl got accepted into a specialized school and behavioral health program that will greatly benefit her emotional well-being and provide her foster parent with the necessary support to continue parenting her. To attend the program, she must wear sneakers. This foster parent would greatly appreciate assistance with providing a pair in size 11. Additionally, the foster parent will be traveling an extra 50 miles per day to drop her off and pick her up and would appreciate a gas card to assist with the cost of gas.

A foster placement with 3 siblings, ages 5, 2, and 1 year, is in need of a baby gate to prevent injuries involving the stairs. Foster mom does not think a normal baby gate will work, due to the set-up of the staircase. She is requesting something similar to this: Go To Link This foster mom is also in need of sheets for the two girls. She does not currently have any for them, they usually sleep with a blanket covering the mattress.

Please help this single mom of 3 children to has been reunified with her children close her case by helping her pay for a hair follicle drug test. This mom has worked so hard to reunify with her children, she has finished all of her services but due to not having reliable transportation and the weather being too hot to ride the bus with 3 young children, she has missed a couple of UA’s recently. By helping her pay for a hair follicle test and prove she is clean of substances, she will achieve case closure. Thank you!

Foster placement which is a kinship placement for one of my minor clients. Is in need of rental assistance for her deposit for her recent move in to house to have space for children in the home. The placement has four children who are in guardianship and one who is a foster placement in the home. The foster mother does work outside the home, but her landlord changed from a $900.00 deposit and now requesting $1800.00. FM reported to CWS worker if she knew of any assistance programs that would help pay this amount.

A young couple has a 1 1/2 year old child that the court allowed to stay in the home under court supervision. The parents are working with several service providers to help correct the situation. The father is working and the mother is seeking employment. Recently, the air conditioner in their trailer went out. They are currently sleeping in the living room with multiple fans but it is not keeping the trailer very cool due to the high summer temperatures. They are in need of two window units so they can place one in the living room and the other near the bedrooms.

I am working with a biological mother and kinship placement of a beautiful four year old girl and one handsome little one year old. Mom is attempting to engage in services but is facing many barriers. Her phone has been shut off due to no payment and she is not able to call to find out when she is supposed to submit for UA's (and more). She has not found a job yet and is struggling to provide diapers or wipes or essential items to provide for the children during her family visits. Foster Mom, grandma, is not able to help with the necessary items because she is not financially able. Mom needs assistance with her phone bill, a stocked diaper bag for the children (which would include nonperishable food items for growing toddler and big sister), and a gas card to ensure she is able to get to recommended service providers. Grandma could use help with diapers and wipes as well.

We are asking for assistance for a young mother who is working to reunify with her infant daughter. This mother has been struggling to maintain housing and does not have transportation of her own. She is now working 2 jobs and staying in a hotel. We are asking for assistance in the form of a Tulsa Metrolink bus pass to help her get to and from work, services and family time. Thank you in advance!

Upon meeting with a family, DHS worker was visiting with a family and was informed of various financial struggles. The family is past due on 2 or more bills including their electricity and internet bill. The amount in the request is the full PSO amount. The Cox bill is in the $100+ area. The family experienced a break-in in March and had many of their valuables stolen. Two of the children in the home are on the Autism spectrum, one is facing legal troubles and the other has serious heart defect. Only one of the parents is working full time while the other stays home with the children. They do not receive any state benefits other than Sooner Care.

Three children, ages 4, 5, 7, are placed with their grandparents. The grandparents were initially going to purchase beds but were unable to due to the financial stain of taking in the children. The family needs a bunk bed and another bed to accommodate the three children. The family will need mattresses for the beds as well. Twin sized beds and mattresses will work the best due to limited space.

An expectant mother in trial reunification with her 2 toddlers, a 3-year-old girl and 2-year-old boy, just started a new job and would greatly appreciate a gas card to get her and the kids to daycare, work shifts, appointments, and meetings.
