A local dad is going through a difficult divorce and is determined to remain a consistent and loving presence in his children’s lives. He has taken a big step by securing his own place to live so that his children can have a safe and stable environment when they are with him. However, he needs help furnishing the new home to accommodate his kids.

A newly licensed foster parent—just three months into her journey—has opened her home to two young children in need: a boy who just turned 4 and a little girl who just turned 3. These precious siblings were recently removed from a heartbreaking living situation where they were staying in a shed. The caregiver is doing everything she can to provide a safe, nurturing environment, but she needs our help with essential items. She is in need of size 4 diapers for the boy and size 2T–3T pull-ups or training pants for the little girl.

The child (2) resides with her mother and father. The parents recently purchased a vehicle off Facebook marketplace and discovered the car is needing 4 new rims before the car will be able to drive. The family is needing assistance with purchasing and installing tire rims. * This request has been claimed by Adoration Church*

This family is living in a severe situation with no central air conditioning. It was fine for the winter and cooler months, and they thought they would be able to pay for the repair before the summer. However, the mother has diabetes that she has poorly controlled and has to receive dialysis treatments three times per week. Five of her toes on her right foot had to be amputated last month and they got infected, and another medical procedure was necessary two weeks ago. Mom's two teenage daughters do not have alternate caregivers and when mom is hospitalized the girls worry greatly about her. We are looking for just some fans (do not have to be brand new) to keep airflow in the home until another solution is utilized for the summer months. This is a diversion case, the children are not in dependency care at this time.

This child was sheltered from her mother in December due to various reasons. She has been doing very well in her kinship placement. The caregiver is great but is needing a new car seat. The child is in need of a safe car seat. We are working on getting this caregiver licensed so she can receive additional funding, but it is a process.

This mother has 4 children one of which is a newborn only a week old. The mother has received a 3-day eviction notice and a promise to pay letter from her apartment by the 15th. The mother is behind $410.75 and is asking for assistance so she and her children are not homeless. The mother also relies on public transportation and is asking for bus passes so that she is able to take the children to school and follow up appointments for herself and the newborn.

Mother is requesting assistance with her electric bill. The amount owed is $338.26 Duke Energy. She is a single mother caring for two children. She is employed but her hours were just cut and she is struggling to pay her bills this month. She is actively looking for better, full time employment and has an interview on Monday. Having her electric paid will help reduce stress in the home and avoid it getting cut off. Thank you!!

I am working with a single mother who is raising her two young children—a 4-year-old and a 10-month-old—entirely on her own. Despite significant financial hardship and limited support, she is doing everything she can to provide her children with a safe and stable home. Due to recent incident in the home, she has had to dispose of her only sofa and is preparing to discard all the mattresses in the home. As a result, she and her children will be without proper beds or furniture. The 4-year-old and baby will be sleeping on blow-up camping pads, while the mother will rest upright in a chair. She is also in need of basic cleaning supplies such as bleach and Lysol to maintain a sanitary living environment. This mother has shown remarkable dedication to protecting her children and restoring a clean, livable home—sacrificing her own comfort in the process. With your support, we can help this family get back on their feet and ensure these young children have safe, clean places to sleep and play—essentials every child deserves. The mother would be grateful for doorstep delivery of the items.

A single mother who recently moved into a new apartment and just found out she is pregnant is in urgent need of support. She is starting over with very limited resources and is currently unable to work while trying to secure daycare for her three daughters. Her children include a toddler (24 months, wears size 24-month clothing), a preschool-aged daughter (wears size 4T-5T clothing and size 5 shoes), and a school-aged daughter (wears size 7/8 clothing and size 12 shoes). The family is in need of essential items including pull-ups (size 4-5), diapers (size 4), wipes, a bassinet, car seat, walker, toddler cups, and baby bottles. The mother is also in need of clothing (t-shirts size small, pants size medium, shoe size 8/8.5). Household and furniture needs include a sectional couch, table and chairs, vacuum, cleaning supplies, towels, rags, laundry detergent, dish soap, two twin-size bedding and comforter sets, a queen comforter set, and window curtains. Meeting this need would greatly support this family as they work to build a safe, clean, and stable home.

I have a mom who is trying to be reunifed with her son who is deaf. He is residing out of county. The mother needs to have consistent visitiaton with him to be reunifed but also to help his own mental state to have video visits with his mother. The mother is in need of a laptop to have video visits as the screen is big enough for her to sign so he can see her and so they can communicate.
