Kinship foster family needs assistance obtaining a baby gate to be in compliance with the foster care approval process. The family needs a "wood banister & stair safety gate". Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as the family has had to spend a lot of personal funds to baby proof their home before they've been approved.

Parents need your help paying the summer camp fee of $675 in order to provide a positive peer opportunity for their 14 year old son with other disabled children. Their son is non-verbal, autistic and an epileptic. One of the parents’ plans to attend this camp with their son. This young boy needs and deserves lots of positive interaction with peers in a supervised and safe atmosphere so he can experience new things available at this camp. By covering even a portion of the camp fee, you will be making a huge difference in this family’s life. This boy will be able to zip line through the woods, jump off a diving board amidst a cheering crowd and create a lifelong relationship with a camp friend among many other camp activities. The Family and Child Welfare thank you for considering assisting with this fee. Again, any donation amount will go to pay for this young boy’s camp fee.

Parents of 7 children need our community’s assistance with beds, bedding and clothing storage/organization. They also need someone to haul the furniture to their home as they navigate life with a large family on a low income. Both parents work outside the home however are not able to make ends meet without assistance. The children are amazing individuals with personalities as big as the day is long. They have been taught manners and social graces and are a joy to work alongside as we reunite them with their parents. The children’s ages range from newborn to 11 years of age (Boys’ ages are 11, 9, 6 and newborn; Girls’ ages are 5, 2 and 1.) They currently are in need of a toddler bed for their 5 year old daughter and the parents need a queen size bed and bed frame. They have no bedding for the beds, so queen, twin and toddler bed size bedding such as sheets, blankets and pillows are also needed. Plain colors for the bedding would be best instead of themed items. The 3 boys each have twin sized beds (bunk beds and a twin bed). If someone is able to assist with moving the beds to their home that is also a great need to be filled. This need can be met partially but selecting one item below. Every little bit helps a lot!!! Filling this need will greatly reduce the stress and anxiety of both parents as they work together to finish their treatment plans in order to keep their family together in their home. The parents and child welfare greatly appreciate your help!!!

A family is in need of immediate assistance. The family consist of mother, father and five beautiful children ages 15, 10, 8, 13 and a newborn. This family has experienced some financial hardships over the past several months. The mother just had her baby and was out on maternity leave. The father hasn’t had stable work and has been in between jobs. As a result, this family has gotten behind on their bills. This family doesn’t have any other financial support from family or friends as they have been struggling financially themselves. This family has sought financial assistance by contacting other resources but they were unsuccessful. This family is now facing eviction and the court hearing is tomorrow. This family is in need of $2,139. This family has done their best to maintain their other bills and get caught up on their rent. This family was making partial payments but now the full amount is required. This family has expressed worry and fear of getting evicted and not being able to provide for their children. We know this is a huge financial ask and we're not trying to put burdens on an individual who is willing to contribute to this family. However, if those who are willing to contribute can ban together as a community to help fulfill this request, this family would be grateful. Thank you for any assistance you're able to provide for this family.

Please consider helping a mother and father with a new convertible car seat for their baby. Today is their baby girl's first birth day and she is in need of a bigger car seat. The parents have been progressing in their case and have been able to move to unsupervised family time with their daughter. They are also transporting her during their family time together. They were previously able to use the foster parents' car seat and were not prepared to have to buy a new one just yet. A new car seat is a big expense for them as they do not have much money. Thank you for your consideration.

A father needs some financial assistance with a Parenting Capacity Evaluation. This will ensure the safety and ability for a parent to be able to parent his children. This testing will ensure that the parent has an understanding of the children's needs, has the ability to create an emotionally safe environment and recommend any services needed to increase parenting abilities. The test is a large financial burden and this amount is the remaining amount that will help get the evaluation scheduled.

I have a wonderful family, consisting of a mother and 8 children in need of assistance with paying their rent. The family is in financial need of $1625.00 to pay past due balance of $800, their upcoming rent,$750.00 due on 06/01/23, and a $75.00 late fee that is applied after 06/05/2023. The family has a limited income and incurred extra expenses that has made them unable to pay their rent beginning of next month. Having this need met, gives the family the ability to maintain housing and gets them on track to be able to pay rent in the future.

Hello! Tulsa County recently removed a 13 year old female who will be staying in a Claremore, Rogers County foster home. This child was removed due to abandonment and was not allowed to take any clothing with her. We have found some items for her but it would mean a great deal to this child to have something to claim as her own. She is sweet, kind, and when you first meet her she lights up the room. She has hopes and dreams to become a forensic pathologist and loves all animals. She enjoys the color pink. When speaking with her she believes that the size clothing that she wears is around a size Small-Medium in shirts and size 0-3 in pants. She is currently wearing a 14/16 in children sizes that are a little small. She also wears a size 7.5 in shoes. She is such a fantastic kid. I know with the communities help it would be a great encouragement to help her with these needs. We as a community can help make this child feel loved and know that she is not in this alone. Thank you for all your assistance!

I have a mom on my caseload who was in a severe domestic violent relationship and has since left that relationship. She has been diligently working her plan and correcting the conditions to make her home safe for her and her kids who are now placed back in her home. Mom is employed full-time, however due to the adjustment of the children in the home and her having to take off a few hours a week to attend counseling along with extra expenses, finances have been strained and she is short on paying her rent that is due June 5th. The full rent amount is $800, but any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Updated on May 31, 2023 by an Agency Worker

I’m currently working with a family that consists of a single mother with five children ages 7 years old and younger. This mom recently started a new job and fell behind on her rent while in between jobs. She was also making large payments toward a debt she owed to avoid garnishment. This single mother agreed to a settlement for this debt that required her to pay a certain amount with the balance being written off. She has reached out to multiple resources provided to her but has been unsuccessful with receiving assistance. This mother needs assistance to help her family remain in their home. She stated with assistance she’ll be able to maintain her rent moving forward. The monthly rent is $1200, the outstanding balance is $2750, but any amount will be greatly appreciated.
