We are working with a kinship foster home who has taken in their grandchildren. The family is nearly fully approved and is taking great care of the children. The family has struggled to adjust to increased expenses and is needing help with some bills in order to stay caught up until they receive financial assistance from OHS. We have been able to get some assistance with one bill and if someone could help with this bill it would get the family caught up. I have a single mother on my caseload with a four year old and 2 month old baby. My client recently had to pay for repairs on her car and it cut into her monthly budget. My client would benefit from transportation assistance (gas card) to get back and forth from work, the baby's doctor appointments, and day care. Any help would GREATLY be appreciated. Thank you!

We have a young married couple fostering their nephew and on the road to adoption. Foster mom recently gave birth to a sweet baby girl and is homeschooling and raising 3 other biological children. We are working with a kinship foster home who has taken in their 2 month old granddaughter. The family is working hard to get fully approved and complete all items and has been taking great care of the child. The family has found bed bugs since taking the child placed and is needing help with some of the treatments for the baby's room and other rooms that they have not spread to. If you could assist with a partial amount of the treatment or if anyone knows of someone who might be able to take a look at it to make sure that family is getting a correct quote it would be greatly appreciated.

My foster parents just took in an infant and got him a crib, toys, swing and bouncer. They are just needing a small dresser for his clothing now. They are perfectly happy with a gently used item. They are just needing somewhere to put his clothes.

We have a very loving resource family that has taken in 2 small children are really struggling due to one of the parents having a recent job loss. The job loss has caused resource parents to fall behind on bills and really could use help with utiliities. Resource parents are able to pay a portion of the bill, but are needing help with the other portion. If you could help this wonderful family please reach out to me asap.

Leah's Hope is a transitional housing program that supports women in crisis gain stability. Our newest participant is a 19 year old single mother with a 2 year old daughter. This mother does not currently have her own transportation, so she must utilize public transportation, rides from friends or family, or walking. Safety is a concern when she is walking with her daughter, because she does not have a stroller. We are needing assistance with getting a traditional stroller for this toddler (not an umbrella stroller) who is 2 years old and weighs 32 pounds. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

This is a request for help obtaining tickets for day admission to the OKC Zoo. A mother and her three children ages (7, 6, & 4) have been in trial reunification for two months. Maternal grandmother also resides in the home and is an added support for the family. They are on a very fixed income and during a home visit with CASA, the mother mentioned she would love to be able to take the kids to the zoo, but that it would be too expensive. The children's basic needs are being met, but extra outings that would provide family fun and enrich their lives, are simply out of reach for this young family. If a church is able to donate tickets for the family, I am confident the family would have the time of their lives. These kiddos have never been to a zoo. We are asking for assistance for a family that is working to reunify with their 8 month old son. They are highly motivated and making great progress. The mother is a full-time student, looking for work, and engaged in all her services. The father is also fully engaged in his services and looking for work. Transportation is an issue for the family and the area they live in does not have a lot of bus service. We are asking for 2 bicycles (they don't have to be new just in good working order) to assist them in their efforts to reunify with their baby. Thank you in advance!

In addition to ongoing medical challenges, the family has experienced multiple recent losses, which have made it difficult for them to maintain their home environment. They are in need of support to help clean and restore their living space to a safer and more manageable condition.
