I have the privilege of working alongside a resilient and courageous client—a single mother of four, with her youngest just 5 months old. Over the past year, I’ve witnessed her endure an overwhelming number of hardships. During her pregnancy, she experienced homelessness, living out of her car while tirelessly seeking shelter, all without success.

Through her determination, she was eventually able to secure stable housing. Unfortunately, due to a recent incident of domestic violence involving the father of her children—who had been her only source of financial support—she is now facing eviction for nonpayment of rent. On top of this, she recently lost her car, which has made it impossible for her to work and maintain financial stability.

She has been reaching out to shelters for over a month, with no success. Thankfully, she has finally found a temporary place to stay that could offer her and her children some stability. However, she needs to come up with a $500 deposit to secure it.

Any support, no matter the size, would be deeply appreciated. It will not only help her secure safe housing but also mark a crucial first step in rebuilding a stable and hopeful future for her and her children.

Mother is financially struggling. Mother is working full time job. Father passed away. She has a 4 yo and pregnant with a girl. Her son is growing out of his bed and is needing a twin bed with mattress.

This family is involved with CPS and needs assistance with paying rent and utilities,if possible. the dad has missed work due to illness.

My client is a single mom of two teenage children. She is currently working full time and is actively trying to move out of unsafe living environment directly linked to her exploitation. She was using a vehicle her exploiter was allowing her to borrow. As a control tactic, he sold the car so that she would no longer be able to use it. She is now having to use uber/lyft to get back and forth to work, which is expensive.

She is desiring independence and freedom from her exploiter and this environment (and so is our team!). The biggest obstacle to achieving that right now is a reliable vehicle. She needs to have a guaranteed and reliable way to get to work, get her kids to school and extracurricular events, as well every day tasks such as grocery runs and doctor visits.

Once this need is meet, she will not only be able to get to work and put in as many hours as she can to save up to move out, but she will also be able to tour and look for places to move to. She will get to be away from the toxic environment and be able to prioritize things to improve her mental and physical wellbeing. Such as meeting with her advocate/mentor(s), attending counseling, engaging in community resources/activities.

Support a Family During Kidney Transplant Recovery

A family of four is in urgent need of support. The mother has been unable to work for four years due to severe medical issues and is finally receiving a long-awaited kidney transplant after seven years on the donor list. The father works full-time and also serves as the primary caregiver. He is driving 2 hours each way to get his wife to hospital appointments, putting significant financial strain on the family. Their only bathroom is unsafe and unusable, and the children have been displaced due to financial hardship.

We are requesting $3,500 to help: Cover gas and travel expenses for transplant appointments, Repair the bathroom floor to create a safe recovery space, Reunite the children under one roof during this critical time.

A 12 year old boy is needing a baseball bat when he starts baseball camp this summer. This child has been looking forward to baseball camp for a long time and support with getting a bat will help him out. We are needing help with getting the Victus Pencil Bat (black colored), size 30-31 for his age and size. This type of bat is needed for this baseball camp. The placement is committed to getting the rest of the gear however needing help with the bat, which is the last thing this child needs for baseball camp.

A family is in need of a crib frame and crib mattress for a one-year-old child. The child has grown too big for her basinet and is in need of her own safe space to sleep. The father is hard working and works full time to support his family, but due to other pressing needs, he is not able to afford a crib at this time.

This mother and her three children fled domestic violence and are residing in their own apartment. The mom is trying to get situated and is having a difficult time with finding appropriate employment. She is requesting assistance with paying her rent.

A 2nd grade student and his family were unfortunately involved in a severe car wreck. Student's father and uncle passed away and mother who was pregnant, is in a coma and baby was born a premie and currently in the NICU. The student has 3 other siblings older/younger siblings as well. They are all currently being cared for by relatives. Any amount for gas gift cards would be helpful to family as they travel back and forth between schools and hospital visits.

17 year old pregnant teen due May 29th. Teen has no social support/parental support. Teen is employed part time and going to school full time. Teen was approved for an apartment and is putting all of their money towards the first months rent and deposit. Teen's boyfriend is also 17 years old. Teen's boyfriend is also working part time and going to school full time. Teen's boyfriend has no social support. They are looking for a bed for their apartment. Their move in date is 5/14/25.

The mother and father are struggling at this time, with providing proper care for their children. Although, they have tried to reach out to several agencies for help. Upon visiting with the family, they are in dire need of help with repairing their toilet. They have tried several ways to repair their toilet. They have tried to get the toilet unclogged but after so many months, the toilet reverts back to the same problems. The home is rented by the family but in the lease, the renters have sole responsibilities of repairing any damages to the home. At this time, the parents are unable to pay for new toilet. The family will also need an installment of the toilet.

A single mother is needing help with obtaining a car seat for her two year old girl. The car seat will allow the child safety while being transported in her daily life. The mother is facing financial hardship and unable to obtain on her own.
