Maternal grandmother is currently caring for her two young grandchildren following the removal from their parents. She is interested in long term care should it become an option. The grandmother recently moved into a larger space to accommodate her grandchildren. She is currently in need of a mattress for one of the children. The assistance would be greatly appreciated as she is experiencing some temporary financial hardships due to the changes in her home.
A mother and her 6 children recently moved into a 2 bedroom apartment from a family member's home. Due to previously residing with family members the mom and her children do not have their own furnishings. Grandmother moved into the home to assist mother with caring for the children and they are still working towards financial stability. At this time their primary needs are twin mattresses for bunk beds and an additional mattress (any size) for a 9-year-old girl as these children are currently sleeping on the floor. The children in the most dire need of sleeping arrangements are 5, 6 and 7 year old boys, they will likely share the bunk bed. Additionally the family would appreciate a dinning room table if available. The family will appreciate any assistance that may be provided at this time.

Mom received a notice stating that she will be evicted if the balance on her apartment is not paid. Mom has reached for help through another agency in the past. Mom has been making monetary contributions toward her rent but is to far behind. The remaining balance on her rent is 1750.00. Any amount of help toward the balance would be appreciated.
I have a parent who was able to finally move into an apartment through the Salvation Army. The father only has outdoor chairs to sit in. The father has congestive heart failure and is sleeping on a hard floor. The Salvation Army has informed the father they would help with furniture, but no one is returning his phone calls. The Father can benefit from a bedroom set/ just a bed full size or larger. The father would also benefit from a living room set. The apartment is a one-bedroom apartment, and his 17-year-old son will be united with him. If there is a living room set the 17-year-old will have somewhere to sit and sleep. If the father gives the 17-year-old the bedroom the father will have some where to sleep and sit if a living set is provided as well.
