A grandparent is experiencing a hardship and is needing help upgrading the child's bed from a toddler bed to a twin bed as they have become to tall and old for the toddler bed.

For as long as I have worked with this family, they have encountered financial hardship and have been having a really hard time getting back on their feet. It seems as though something else always comes up that poses them a new financial challenge. Oftentimes, the family's close bonds with their neighbors are able to provide a support network for them, but this year, after a very cold and persistent midwest winter, the family has been hit with a large electricity bill that they are having a hard time paying. Mom has tried to set up payments with the company but they have denied her request. Plainly, she does not have the resources available to her to pay this bill in full without serious financial consequences for her and her two children, who she works fiercely to support. I am hoping we can find help in paying off this bill for a family of three impacted by the chronic stress of trying to make ends meet as It is possible they could lose access to utilities. They are looking for a total of $544.16 to cover an Evergy bill.

KVC is working with a family to reunify 8 children back home to their mother and father that has limited income. This family has worked hard at completing tasks to get the children back but have struggled with accessing additional income to have furniture in their home. They have had to sell their previous furniture to keep up with bills. This family is very close to getting their children back in the same home and need help with furnishing their home so the children can be comfortable adjusting back into the future.

We have a mother and child in urgent care to help with their - Day notice to quit for Non-payment of rent. The fee's left to pay are not so substantial and we hope that you can help us keep this kiddo at home. Client is a single mother who is working seven days a week to try to pay for the needs of her children and save for maternity leave. The father of her baby declined to help pay for any of the expenses related to the baby or prenatal care. Client needs size M or L maternity clothing - especially black stretchy pants that she can wear as part of her work uniform.

This family has requested assistance with before and after school care for the remainder of the school year. This child thrives on consistent routine and is worried if they are not able to continue with this routine for the remainder of the school year it will cause disruption to the child's behavior progress.

Hello, I have a relative placement that needs our help with a dresser, a twin bed frame and an outdoor water activity table. The only requirement for the dresser is to please keep in mind this dresser will be in a bedroom with 4 children under the age of 8. :-) This relative placement is simply amazing and needs our help.

A 16-year-old in foster care is preparing for a life-changing move to reunite with their father and stepmother—finally heading to their forever home. While this moment is full of hope, it also comes with anxiety. After experiencing a devastating loss in the past where all of their belongings were lost, the idea of putting their things on a plane feels deeply unsettling.

To help ease this worry, we’re hoping to provide luggage tracking tags (like AirTags or similar tracking devices) for their multiple bags. Being able to see where their belongings are would bring immense peace of mind during an already emotional and overwhelming transition. If you can contribute funds or send a tracker directly, you’ll be offering more than just technology—you’ll be offering comfort, security, and a small sense of control in a big, uncertain moment.

Single mother with two children has fallen on hard times. She recently was hospitalized due to suffering multiple strokes and a heart attack. Mother than came home from the hospital, only to realize that her water heater had broken and her plumbing in the bathroom leaking. Mother is able to afford the cost of the $400 water heater but is unable to afford the $1200 that is needed to install the water heater. Mother does not have an estimate on how much the plumbing of the bathroom would cost at this time. The family does not have a working oven, so they are unable to even heat water on the stove for warm baths. They are currently bathing at the local community center or using their sink. To warm up food, the family is using a toaster oven.

Mother is unable to work at this time, as she is attempting to recover from her medical conditions. She does have some family support, but due to the costs of the repairs and appliances, they are unable to assist. Any assistance with the cost or labor for this family to have the basic necessities, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your consideration!

We have a family that has fallen behind on their electric bill for the full amount of $1475.80. Our client's father is a single parent in the home with 3 children. He recently had car troubles to the point that he is unable to use his current vehicle. Being a single parent, he would spend many nights Door-dashing for supplemental income and he has been unable to do that. Currently, the kids must be picked up for school by their grandparents and client's dad must be picked up for his day job. The finances have been directed to immediate needs, and they have been unable to pay their electric bill. Any kind of financial assistance would be greatly appreciated to help this family get back on track. Thank you!

One of my young children from my case load, asked me for a vanity dresser and a sofa. She needs the vanity dresser for her room because she doesn't have one, and it would allow her to get ready and do her makeup. As for the sofa, she requested it because the ones in the living room are very worn out.
