Mother's car is not working and may have issues with overheating. The car needs to be looked at, in person, to determine the issue and provide a more accurate estimate for the cost of repairs. Her car allows her to attend work and participate in the services provided by the department. Once her car is fixed, she can work and participate in services which help with the goal of family reunification.

The family could benefit from Pest Control services or supplies, Cleaning services to assist with the deep cleaning, Window repair services, Portable dishwasher, Kitchen knives, Garden Hose, Adult size hangers, Yard tools, Buckets, Storage bins, Toy boxes, Measuring tape, and mason jars.

A client came into our center in desperate need of emergency supplies. She is a mother of four children and her situation has been nothing short of heartbreaking. While pregnant, she went to the hospital seeking relief for a severe headache, only to be diagnosed with prenatal hypertension. The condition rapidly worsened, and tragically, she had to deliver her baby prematurely. Her precious newborn, Alexis Miracles, passed away on April 10th. In the midst of her grief, this mother is also caring for her one year old daughter, who has outgrown her bassinet and urgently needs a crib for a safer and more comfortable sleeping environment. We are reaching out to ask if you can extend your support in helping this grieving mother with this critical need, as she navigates through an incredibly difficult time. Thank you for responding to this request for a 30 year old Single Mother whose husband had been very abusive. They have separated and he has moved on. After 6 months she has now been able to find a house (in supportive housing) She is so happy for the safe housing for her and her 10 month baby girl... We, the Sisters of Life, have know her throughout her pregnancy. For her this will be a real leg up. It has been a long road and a big struggle. She has worked many jobs to get to this point and stayed in many shelters... If these items could be given to her - her sense of a safe home would be complete... she is looking forward to her new more stable job and paying off all the debt she needed to accrue in order to get to this point. A single mother of two children is requesting bedroom furniture items for her children after spending a majority of her savings to move into a new apartment. This single mother has two daughters of the age of 7 and 4. The family recently moved into a new, one bedroom apartment and is requesting two dressers for the families' clothes and other items to be stored. Currently, the family's clothes and other items are kept in a pile in the bedroom which leads to difficulty finding items in the morning before school or leaving the home which causes them to be late to school or other events. By providing the family new dressers, the family will save money in order to support the children in other ways.

A family in Prescott Valley has recently undergone financial hardships. Due to medical complications, one of the parents was not able to work and did not qualify for disability. Due to limited family connections, there was not a lot of support from the family that would allow for essential items needed for the children. Additional items would give the parents peace of mind, relieve stressors and increase the quality of life for these young children. The teenager is 15 years old living in a group home. The male teenager has been in DCS care for 3 years with lack of family support. Bio mother lives in Utah and bio father passes away prior to the teenager entering DCS care. The male teenager has gone through a lot and leans towards music to help cope with life stressors. The teenager loves makes music and expresses his emotions through rap. The teenager is wanting to join the Alice Cooper's Solid Rock Teen Center. DCS was able to get some funding through AFFC, but was not able to cover the full program. The program in total is $250 and the teenager needs $125.

A single mother with mental health challenges has three children (ages 11 and 12) with high behavioral needs, including Level 1-2 autism spectrum. She has begun therapy and sees her doctor monthly. Her home is severely cluttered and dirty due to hoarding, and she needs significant help with deep cleaning. She has contacted cleaning companies, with one quoting around $10,000—an amount she cannot afford. The exact cost is uncertain, so a $500 buffer was added to the estimate.
