Parents need your help paying the summer camp fee of $675 in order to provide a positive peer opportunity for their 14 year old son with other disabled children. Their son is non-verbal, autistic and an epileptic. One of the parents’ plans to attend this camp with their son. This young boy needs and deserves lots of positive interaction with peers in a supervised and safe atmosphere so he can experience new things available at this camp. By covering even a portion of the camp fee, you will be making a huge difference in this family’s life. This boy will be able to zip line through the woods, jump off a diving board amidst a cheering crowd and create a lifelong relationship with a camp friend among many other camp activities.
The Family and Child Welfare thank you for considering assisting with this fee. Again, any donation amount will go to pay for this young boy’s camp fee.

I have a mom who got behind on the rent when she had to take off work to have a baby. She's been able to get almost all the way caught up but is still a little short. With her rent caught up, we'll feel more secure in closing her case, knowing she has a safe place for her children to stay.

I have a family in Tulsa that has placement of their god children - ages 16 and 11. The household consists of the two girls and three adults, foster parents and his adult son. The family is also planning to accept placement of the girls' younger brother, age 5. They currently reside in a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment. The foster parents have sacrificed their bedroom to have the girls placed in their home. They have been sleeping on a mattress in the living room. They have an opportunity to move to a four-bedroom apartment. In order for their brother to be placed with them, the family has to move to a larger place. They will move at the end of June. We are asking for any help towards the deposits or final rent payment at the old place. They are requesting the amount of $706 towards the new apartment or $1095 for the rent at the old apartment for the month of June. This is so they children can be placed together, and the foster parents can move from the living room floor. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
