We are working with a kinship foster home who has taken in their grandchildren. The family is nearly fully approved and is taking great care of the children. The family has struggled to adjust to increased expenses and is needing help with some bills in order to stay caught up until they receive financial assistance from OHS. We have been able to get some assistance with one bill and if someone could help with this bill it would get the family caught up. The family is working hard to get fully approved and complete all items and has been taking great care of the child. The family has found bed bugs since taking the child placed and is needing help with some of the treatments for the baby's room and other rooms that they have not spread to. If you could assist with a partial amount of the treatment or if anyone knows of someone who might be able to take a look at it to make sure that family is getting a correct quote it would be greatly appreciated.

My foster parents just took in an infant and got him a crib, toys, swing and bouncer. They are just needing a small dresser for his clothing now. They are perfectly happy with a gently used item. They are just needing somewhere to put his clothes.

We are currently working with a unexpected kinship placement who has taken in her great niece and nephew (2,4). The family is working hard to balance taking in the 2 children and working and is getting close to being fully approved. We have a very loving resource family that has taken in 2 small children are really struggling due to one of the parents having a recent job loss. The job loss has caused resource parents to fall behind on bills and really could use help with utiliities. Resource parents are able to pay a portion of the bill, but are needing help with the other portion. If you could help this wonderful family please reach out to me asap.

A mother and her five children have moved into a safe home provided by Homeless Alliance. The oldest child, a 14-year old, would like to contribute to the household income by working this summer. He had the idea to mow yards in his neighborhood to provide some extra income for the family. He is a hard worker and helps his mother a lot with her four other children. Providing him with a lawn mower would give him a way to be productive this summer!

Hello, I’m currently working with a family facing significant hardships. A grandmother is the primary caregiver for her 17-year-old grandson, who has been diagnosed with autism. In addition to ongoing medical challenges, the family has experienced multiple recent losses, which have made it difficult for them to maintain their home environment. They are in need of support to help clean and restore their living space to a safer and more manageable condition. The family is open to assistance in the form of funding for a professional cleaning service (please note the amount provided is a guestimate - there has not been an estimate provided by any service), or volunteer support—whichever the church or organization feels is most feasible. This request is for a participant of RestoreOKC. This single mother is looking for a stackable washer and dryer for her home. She has recently moved in to a home that is better suited for her and her son, but she didn't have a washer and dryer to move into it, and now is having to do her laundry outside of the home. If you have any resources to help with this, she would greatly appreciate it!

I am reaching out to request financial assistance to help cover past-due rent for a single mother doing her best to provide a safe and stable environment for her children. She has recently fallen on hard times and struggling to get by financially. She is a survivor of domestic violence, and the past few years have been especially challenging for her family. Her ex-husband, who has a history of violent behavior, was incarcerated and has recently been released. Since his release, he has not contributed any child support, which has put a serious strain on their finances. Despite the mother's efforts to work and manage everything on her own, the lack of support and ongoing emotional stress have made it increasingly difficult to stay afloat.

At this time, she is behind on rent and daycare payments for her child. She is behind $400 on rent and $400 on daycare. I am submitting the request for only $400 as she states that catching up on rent is most important at this time. She is doing everything she can to secure additional income and resources. Any support you can offer would be a blessing and deeply appreciated.

There is a family in the Leah's Hope program and one of the children needs a new twin sized bed, bedding, and dresser. This family had to suddenly leave their home due to a domestic violence situation, and the daughter does not currently have her own bed to sleep in. She could also use a small dresser to keep her clothing in order. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Leah's Hope has a brand new family that was just approved into the program. They have most of their home furnishings, however, neither mom or son has a bed. We are seeking 2 full or queen sized beds to meet the needs of this family. We would also need appropriate bedding for these beds. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

We have a woman who recently finished the program at Leah's Hope. She is transitioning into her own residence, however, she needs some assistance with a past due balance with ONG. We are requesting $150 to help settle this debt. This will allow her to move forward in independence and stability. Any support would be much appreciated!
