The Family is also in need of kitchen supplies (Pots, pans, dishes, silverware, ect), toiletries, laundry soap, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, pillows, sheets, blankets, and a first aid kit. The mother is also needing a new wheel alignment on her car and a radiator replaces. She states that she has the parts, she just needs help getting them put on correctly. She would love a washing machine as well but knows that it is a huge ask.
This family is only needing help for their utility bill that has gone out of there budget. It doesn't seem like it is a reoccurring issue with the family. They are capable of keeping up with the following payments, but one month had gotten away from them and has now piled up and it is beyond what they can afford alone. They are reaching out and asking for help. The household consists of 3, both parents and a child. The bill is 274$ to avoid shut off, but the entire bill is $444.

We are looking for funds to assist in reunifying a family. The biological mother is needing assistance with paying off a past due utility bill. The mother will be able to pay off of her utility bill and get utilities set up in her new housing. Once she has the new housing, her children will be able to be reunified with her.

A single mother of 4 kids. Mom has experienced homelessness and in February 2023 got a home for her and her kids. She does not work and is needing help paying her rent for the month. Mom is great and working hard to get back on her feet. $230 is needed as soon as possible. Updated on May 30, 2023 by an Agency Worker The mother of this family has followed up with me several times regarding this need. If there are any churches who could do part of the $230 that is needed, that would work as well.

The mother of two of the children on my case load went down on her income when the boys were removed from her home. They had recently been placed with her for trial home visit for over 6 months. She previously received their SSI payments. She is now at risk of losing her housing if she is not able to continue to pay her rent. We are looking at placing the boys back in the home while her and her boyfriend work through some services. The boyfriend recently got a job and is hopeful to start contributing to the house hold expenses. She is needing help for her June rent. Her rent total is 950.
We have a family who came into care, set of 4 siblings who are being split between two placements. The youngest two, aged 3 and 7, are in dire need of a bed, frame, and possible sheets/pillow. The placement is a family member who also has her own children and went from feeding 5 mouths to 7 and she is struggling financially and also left her job to care for the 3-year-old full time. She is in need of beds for both children as she just doesn't have the extra. If we can get a trundle bed, that would be preferred she said but will take what is given to help. These kids have been through a lot already and we are just trying to ease the stress and help maintain their placement.

Single mother of child, 7, recently got into a bad car accident that resulted in her car being totaled. This has affected her ability to go to work as this was her only transportation and she has no other assistance nor many family or friends near enough to help. She could really use help with covering the rest of her rent for this month while she figures out her next steps and gets back on her feet. She is a very engaged and hardworking parent and is very close to reintegrating with her young son. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The relative providers have experienced a hardship in that the foster mother has lost employment the job she had interviewed for did not offer her the position. She has been continuing to seek employment and has not had luck yet. The foster father does work but his income is not enough to solely support the household. The child in the home, they are getting ready to adopt, she is 14 years old and very bonded to them. This help with ensure the family does not end up homeless. Single mother "J" is working hard to support her two children. She has a good job and they have a place to live and a car. The family has beds and a kitchen table, but does not have living room furniture or a television. Mom keeps the home very clean and is a good mother to her kids. She would like to have a place they can relax and watch a movie together as a family. We are requesting assistance in obtaining a small sofa and television for the family. They do not have to be new, but the family would prefer they be clean and in good shape if used.
An older youth had been placed with a family that was willing to complete guardianship for him so that he could leave care. Recently they decided not to complete guardianship with him and he and his younger siblings were asked to be removed from their home. This older youth was given a car by the previous placement but they took it back when they asked for the kids to be removed from their home. The youth in worried about transportation because he has a job that he really enjoys and he is trying to become self sufficient since guardianship is no longer an option. The youth has found a car that he would like to buy and is in the process of saving for the car. He could use some help meeting his goal of saving for the car. We do not want this youth to spend all of his savings on a car if we could assist him with getting a car.

S.D. is a wonderful placement provider, who is always willing to open her doors up for children in need of a home. S.D. recently agreed to take an emergency placement of an 11 year old boy who was dropped off at our office today by an angry foster parent. S.D. has everything else to complete the placement, but she needs to replace a bedroom door. S.D. is facing a bit of a financial situation due to taking care of their mother and could not afford to replace the door at the moment. Getting this door will give us more opportunity to place the boy and any future placements.
