MOTHER IS NEEDING TRANSPORTATION FROM MCPHERSON TO MOUNDRIDGE ON MONDAY AT 8:30AM PLUS A RIDE BACK FROM MOUNDRIDGE TO MCPHERSON THAT AFTERNOON. MOTHER HAS NO TRANSPORTATION AS THE DAD DIDNT KEEP UP WITH THE PAYMENTS AND THE CAR GOT TAKEN AWAY. These 6 Children initially came into care when mother went out to be with friends for a birthday party and left the children with the youngest's father. The father left the children home alone and committed crimes. Mother recently had a foot surgery and had to be off work 8 weeks. She is back to work now and recently purchased a car following a prior wreck which her car seats had to be disposed. Mother moved to unsupervised visits last week but cannot transport the children without car seats. Once mother has beds, she can move to overnight visits. Mother is attending drug and alcohol and mental health as recommended and has consistent employment.

Items sought; One twin over twin bunkbed with mattresses. One toddler bed and mattress.

Urgent need: 2 toddler car seats with 5-point harnesses and one booster seat.

Family just moved to Hutchison and is living with a relative but is hoping to get a place to live soon, they want some items due to leaving everything they owed behind. Any consideration for this request is appreciated.

Items sought- kitchen items such as cups, plates, silverware etc. Any gently used kitchen items would be appreciated as well.

All 4 youth in this home have struggled with being in foster care and ways to cope. Recently during a worker child, while trying to find ways to cope and feel better it was an idea to get the weighted blanket which would also help them sleep at night. The youngest two children often want to be cuddled at night when scared- our hope is that this will make it feel like they are not so alone. The older two feel as if it would help them sleep and feel better when trying to de-escalate. Older three children are in care for the second time, youngest's first. These child have been abused physically, mentally, verbally and emotionally. One of the children was burned which led to the first go around of foster care. These children struggle with the loss of not having their parents but want to only go home to one parent and not the other. One youth recently was in an acute stay due to the anxiety of court and having to face parents after telling the truth of things that have happened and worried how parents would react to it. Items sought- Weighted blankets for all 4 children

Two parents, autistic child, and disabled adult living together. Momma is the caregiver for the child and the grandmother. They have one vehicle, a minivan in which the air conditioner does not work. They have a mechanic who is able to complete the labor, but the parts will cost $550-$600. They drive this vehicle to bring dad to work and get the child to school on a daily basis. With it getting warmer, the family has been getting creative with keeping cool, such as using spray bottles for the little boy and dipping in the pool and driving with the windows down, but we would LOVE to bless them before summer comes in full force.

In the month of June, the aftercare case team will be celebrating all of the families whose children were reunified with their parents/guardians during the past year (June 2024 - end of May 2025). The case team is planning to make gift baskets for each family. One of the main items needed is baskets or something similar to hold items based on a determined theme per family. The case team thought donated baskets or gift cards to purchase them would allow them to use their full budget on the themed items for each family's basket. I have attached pictures of possible baskets/tubs as guidance. They do not have to be the exact ones. The case team will be putting baskets together at the beginning of June and delivering these gift baskets in the month of June. Thank you all for the continued care and support, it is truly making a difference in children's and their families lives.

Mom is a young, single mother age 20 with a 2 year old son. Mom's car is broken down and she believes it may be the alternator. Is unable to take the car to a mechanic to determine what is wrong with the car. Recently had to move back in with her mother due to expenses. Mom would like assistance in determining what is wrong with the car so that she has it to look for work and transport her son to daycare. She indicated she has a job available but no way to transport herself and her son at this time. Is there possibly a mechanic who could look at the car and help determine what is wrong so that we know how to help going forward?

The family recently moved to the area and did not have a kitchen table or chairs. The family has since been assisted with obtaining a kitchen table but still needs chairs. They are hopeful to increase family bonding and individual responsibility with being able to sit down together for meals and also being responsible for their own "clean-up" areas. Plastic or metal folding chairs would work great for the family, and they will need 7 preferably at this time. Specific color does not matter, just neutral/matching with black, grey, or white.

A single mother of three young girls, twin toddlers that are 3yo and one that is 5yo. She has made a significant amount of progress in the case and we are expecting to fully reintegrate all three girls this month. Mom has worked very hard to make her home a safe and comfortable space for her children to reintegrate into, and has been using a rent-to-own service for her furniture and the cost has become unrealistic to maintain. She is needing a washer and dryer for her home to ensure the girls have clean clothing and replace the rentals. Any consideration would be appreciated. Thank you.

A single mother just recently got an apartment after leaving a domestic violence situation. Mother has put in a lot of effort to utilize low income housing to obtain a new apartment and is now asking for help getting a set of bunk beds, in good used condition is okay, she is also asking for assistance in delivery and set up of the frame. Mother is also seeking twin size mattresses for the bunk bed set along with bedding for those two beds. She also has a two year old daughter in a toddler bed, the bed has been provided but she is seeking help getting bedding for her daughters toddler bed.
