A family with a 3-year old boy is needing a bed frame with mattress for him. He is currently sleeping on a single twin mattress on a concrete floor. If possible, a comforter set for him as well. He likes Blue's Clues. This is a family who is receiving at services with Parents as Teachers. A sibling set of four kids (ages 15, 13, 11 and 9) will be moving to their foster to adopt home by the end of this month. The family has purchased beds, clothes and sports equipment for the children, including uniform shirts for oldest brother, who has a job. Everyone is so excited for the children to stay together and move into their future forever home. Foster parents have stretched finances thin in order to quickly obtain all the items in anticipation of these kiddos coming. The last missing items they need help with is a dresser for each child. They have been looking locally for reasonably priced dressers and buy/sell/trade sites, and but haven't had any luck. This family of two, soon to be a family of six would be so grateful and blessed to receive any assistance with obtaining dressers for the kids. Three little brothers (ages 3, 1 and 9 months) have endured severe mistreatment, and had been unhealthy for months. They are all now in a stable, safe and supportive home that has helped them tremendously, including getting them caught up developmentally. Before landing in their current home, the sadly bounced between a few homes. Their ages are critical to them developing a sense of safety and security, and everyone is working very hard to keep these kids stable. The strain and stress has been really difficult for this foster family, as these three littles need and deserve a lot. At this time, baby brother is needing a crib that can be converted into a toddler bed (plus bedding), and this foster home is stretched thin on budgeting for all their needs. They also need a car seat for baby brother that will later convert to a booster seat. Helping provide these items will greatly relieve stress on this incredible foster family, and help them feel supported as they continue to strive to meet all the needs for these siblings. A single mom to three boys, ages 7, 3 and 3, is needing assistance with obtaining a new queen OR full size mattress. Her 7 year old's bed had to be replaced, so she gave him her bed. She now in need of her own bed. This would help them gain a sense of normalcy in the home, and allow mom to get much needed rest at bedtime. This mom has been working hard throughout services to make progress for herself and her sons. They are a bonded family, but and adjusting to a new family structure. The family has limited support, and would be blessed to receive any support during this time. Her youngest sons are very high needs, and she works hard to do her very best to ensure all three boys get the attention they need and deserve. A family of four have bed bugs. Money is need to kill all the bedbugs and their eggs. They purchased a couch of of Facebook Marketplace. It was infested with little black bugs and they multiplied quickly. The father is disabled with one leg and has stage 5 kidney disease and congestive heart failure. Without help, there is no way to elminate the bugs. Students are currently being required to change clothes upon entering building and washing the clothes at school. Their computer had bugs crawling out of it so it is going to have to be left at home. Backpacks are currently not allowed to enter building until bugs have been eliminated. The students have bites all over their body. We have a quote from Advanced Pest Control. The donation can be made out directly to the company if needed.

Three bonded siblings are so excited to start overnight visits soon, but mom is needing immediate assistance obtaining beds for each child . The three kiddos need beds, frame, and bedding (sheets, pillows and blanket). Mom separated from dad, and that is why they are in need of furniture for their new home together. Mom is working and looking forward to being reunified with her children as soon as possible. The family also needs help with dressers or plastic storage drawers. Lastly, they do not currently have living room furniture, - any help with a table, couch or loveseat/recliner would help make their new apartment feel like home. Mother of one who recently left an abusive situation, she just found a job and is working on getting herself back on track. Her current situation is that her car needs tires, and she unable to afford them. She needs car to get to work and to get son to daycare safely.

J. (15/Male) is happy to be placed in his loving aunt's home through kinship placement. His aunt recently moved into an apartment, and is on a very limited income. J. really needs a dresser in his new bedroom, this will help him keep organize his clothes and maintain a clean bedroom. This kinship home could also use help with furniture for the living room. A couch and/or recliner would help give the family a place to spend time, and a coffee table. Lastly a small dining table with a couple chairs (due to limited space) would allow them to eat meals together, and provide J. a place to do homework as well. The Salina Saint Francis Ministries office would love some assistance gathering items that are frequently needed by all ages of foster children who may be in the office. Physical donations or a gift card to Walmart can help meet this need. Needing three packages of the following: girls underwear size 10-12, girl's underwear size 14-16, boys underwear size 10-12 and men's large underwear. Mom is a single mother to two small boys who are 2 and 3. In less than 2 months the children will be fully reintegrated. She has done a great job working through the case plan and meeting all of her tasks. Mom just had a little baby girl this month so she will have her hands full. It would be extremely difficult to take the three young children to the laundry mat and expensive as well. Single Mother/Grandmother raising her three boys and her 1yo grandchild needs a washer, she is without after hers broke down. She washes for 5 people every week, and it can be hard for her to keep up going over to wash at another persons home weekly. Mother is asking for a newer running washer one that she will not have to put parts into and fix. If the laundry gets behind too much, then the 1yo will be wearing dirty clothes, and the younger boys will also have to go to school in dirty clothes. Mother is trying to make the best of it, but the place she has been washing has asked her to quit coming by to do this, because it wears out their washer.
