Please help this single mother of 6. The mother was evicted after paying her rent up for several months and did not get her money back. This caused her to move into a 2 bed hotel with her and her children. While at the hotel her large suv was stolen and now she has no transportation to take her kids to school. I am asking for anyone who can help provide a rental car for the mom until she can hear back from the insurance company and/or save more money to get her own. I also am asking for someone to help with new hotel in a safer area for her and her kids for up to a month. Anything you can do for this family will be helpful!
The mother in this case is a single mom of 3 children under the age of 5, 2 girls and 1 boy. She was raised in the foster care system and has a very limited support system. She recently got a job after being unemployed for 2 months and moved into a new apartment and does not have a washer and dryer. She does not have extra income to use a laundry mat and has been washing the clothes in the sink for the time being. A washer and dryer would be extremely helpful to this family.
Kinship caregiver is maternal grandmother for 2 infants, they are 15 months old (M) and 4 months old (F). She is in need of a double stroller to get around with both children. 15 month old just started walking and is still wobbly, 4 month old just started rolling. Caregivers work full-time and children attend daycare through the week. They are currently working on their license for adoption and are very busy, they would benefit from continued community support.
Maternal grandmother is caring for two toddlers who were removed from the care of their parents. She desires to provide long term care for the children in her home. The grandmother has recently moved into a larger space to accommodate the children, but is in need of living room furniture. Due to financial restraints, the grandmother is unable to afford furniture. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Single mother of two children, 2-year-old (male) and 1-year-old (female). The family is needing a toddler bed and the bedding for each child to have safe and appropriate sleeping arrangements.
This case involves 5 children who were placed with their maternal grandmother due to substance exposure to the twin babies. The babies were in the NICU and have not been cleared for daycare yet. The grandmother had to quit her job in order to meet the needs of the children. We are seeking cots or a trundle for the older children and a swing for the babies.
Mom is a single mother of 8 who is trying her hardest to provide for her children as she unexpectedly lost the family's primary source of income . Unfortunately, she is unable to provide her children an appropriate place to sleep at this time. Should this need be provided, it would allow for the children to get a good nights rest which will hopefully help them succeed in school, as well as in their peer relationships. The family could use either single beds or bunkbeds.
Youth aging out of care/homeless in need of bedding for twin mattress. Bedding includes fitted sheet, top sheet, comforter, and two pillow cases. This bedding will allow the youth to gain access to a clean and safe living environment, the first step in the road to independency. Having a room and bedding that they can call their own will empower them to go out and reach their educational, vocational, and personal goals so they can transition into adulthood well.
Mom is a single mother and is needing a little assistance with some household items and items for the children. Mom is currently unemployed but is in the process of looking for employment

The immediate needs are: Body Wash (Dove preferred: they are allergic to Dial), lotion, and other hygiene items; Uniform clothing (1 student needs the White shirt 10/12 and pants) & (1- male 3 Orange size 14/16 and pants ?). Providing these items will help the children attend school in proper attire and adequate hygiene. I would love to set up a time to talk about wrap around opportunities with the churches responding.
Kinship caregiver is the maternal grandmother for an almost 1-year-old, male infant in CPS Conservatorship. She is also the primary caregiver for the infant's older sibling. Caregiver is currently in need of size 5 diapers and wipes for her infant grandson. This caregiver would benefit from continued community support and resources to help raise her grandsons as a single parent. Caregiver also helps look after her aging mother that lives in the home.

Hello, I have a volunteer that would like to get the twin sheets and blankets for the children. Please let me know if there is a good address to have them shipped to the family. Thank you.
The family consists of mom (30), mom's partner (27), and the two children (10 and 9). The 10 year old boy has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair. The family had a bedbug outbreak a few months ago and has struggled to completely eradicate them. They have received help with extermination services during a prior cases and would benefit from another round of treatment to the home.
Our small school provides wrap around case management services to help our high school aged students graduate. We have a pregnant student living on her own who has very few items for herself and her "almost here" newborn. This young mom to be has faced trauma and difficulties in her young life that would debilitate most. She is very near to graduating and we want to support and honor her efforts as she tries to live independently. She needs a baby swing for the baby, but a full bed, bed linens, pots and pans, and flatware for herself

Hello, I am a CPS Kinship caseworker that is working with a family that are the current caregivers of their five grandchildren. They are a loving family, and the grandparents are trying their best to make the necessary accommodations and follow the DFPS guidelines for the kiddos sleeping arrangements. In order to do that they are in need of a bunk bed and two twin size mattresses. These bunk beds will help preserve this kinship placement.
A 5 year old girl is struggling regulating her emotions, behaviors while recently learning her parents parental rights were terminated. This 5 year old has made numerous comments of wanting to do a camp during this summer, which focuses on the hard part of foster care. This child has been through so much mental abuse and was the victim of neglect. The Permanency Specialist is wanting this child to be able to have normalcy and not have to worry about summer. This amount would cover the full summer for this child.

Geoffrey:
Hi, I am trying to pay for the camp using our CarePortal card, but it won't allow me to transfer the funds to the card since this need shows as met. Any chance you could mark it as unmet and then I'll transfer the funds over and then pay for the camp?

This single grandmother who has kinship care of her three grandchildren, one of whom is Autistic and has significant therapy needs, is in need of car repairs. Currently the grandmother must rely on others for transportation putting a strain on the family's health and stability. Providing the funds necessary for the car repairs will help the grandmother continue to care for her grandchildren diminishing their risk for child welfare involvement. The estimate provided by the mechanic was $700. Connections to a trusted and reliable mechanic would also be of benefit.
